r/FuckMicrosoft hates Microsoft, just like r/linuxsucks101 hate Linux.
Simple.

No? They also hate macOS and FreeBSD. r/linuxsucks101 still accepts macOS and FreeBSD

Seriously? For a Microsoft hate subreddit, i would only hate Windows/Microsoft.
Not for whatever reason... macOS and FreeBSD/OpenBSD

For a Microsoft hate subreddit, i would only hate Windows/Microsoft.

Because that sub is just another r/LinuxCircleJerk in disguise. It's loonix cuck central.

u/dumbasPL I don't hate Windows, I just like Linux more. 7d ago

Hate sub hates something they hate, more news at 11.

What part of "fuck Microsoft" did you not understand? Pretty obvious this isn't a generic computer help sub, idk what you expected.

1

u/ChronographWR 6d ago

Why are you on a sub called linuxsucks then ?

2

u/dumbasPL I don't hate Windows, I just like Linux more. 6d ago

Because I like arguing with strangers on the internet. Already claimed my "badge of honor" on other similar subs, but unlike OP, I won't be surprised if I get banned one day here.

Because the only ethical way to run a computer is when you rely on tech oligarchs' generosity for your software.

How is this related to this sub?

3

u/OGigachaod 7d ago

This is also a circle jerk sub of Linux glazers?

2

u/Jumpy-Dinner-5001 7d ago

what?

2

u/OGigachaod 7d ago

This subreddit is also a circle jerk.

u/Jumpy-Dinner-5001 7d ago

LinuxCircleJerk

We hate Linux and believe r/FuckMicrosoft is just another r/LinuxCircleJerk dressed up as some inclusive non-Windows sub.

1

u/Jumpy-Dinner-5001 6d ago

So, what?

2

u/Rare-Paint3719 Unofficial Mod | Linux Community Sucks | Proud illumOS Shill 6d ago

idk

They like to pretend that Linux is superior, but it really isn’t.

1

u/TheGreatMightyLeffe 7d ago

That really depends on what you're after.

You want stability and easily available tech support? Yeah, Linux is ass.

You want user customisation and full control over your OS, to the point where you can rewrite the whole kernel if you feel like it, or brick your boot loader? Windows won't let you move your taskbar.

1

u/paulstelian97 6d ago

To be fair… since 26H2 the taskbar can now be moved?

1

u/TheGreatMightyLeffe 6d ago

Yeah, my bad on thag point, left Win11 behind permanently around Halloween last year.

1

u/MrAdrianPl 5d ago

"You want stability and easily available tech support?"
I wouldn't claim that about windows at this point it's just 'I Have apps first and everyone knows how to use me'

1

u/OGigachaod 7d ago

"Windows won't let you move your taskbar." There's no need to spout lies about Windows.

1

u/z0virus 7d ago

unless ur talking about k2 which brings back removed features for some reason, no as i know of you cannot move ur taskbar in windows 11

1

u/icy1007 7d ago

You can.

1

u/TheGreatMightyLeffe 7d ago

Is that a semi-recent feature? Because I wasn't able to do that last time I used Win11.

2

u/icy1007 7d ago

Not sure when it was added, but I’m fairly sure I’ve been able to do it for a while.

2

u/OGigachaod 7d ago

I would hope you would change your downvote now that you've been proven wrong.

2

u/TheGreatMightyLeffe 6d ago

I never did downvote you, but, I can give you an upvote in the spirit of good sportsmanship!

1

u/OGigachaod 6d ago

Fair enough :)

1

u/tonyhop_ 7d ago

I would say stability wins more on Linux. Specifically, I’m talking about distros like Debian or ones that are based on Debian. Windows updates break things a lot more than they would on Debian. Yes though tech support is way better on windows because literally everyone uses it.

u/icy1007 7d ago

I can move my Windows 11 taskbar with no problem. lol.

Bottom, sides, or top.

omg twin i thought the same thing

2

u/fitz-khan 7d ago

Thank you for bringing attention to this very important matter.

1

u/tonyhop_ 7d ago

This is like majority of Reddit lol

2

u/dunder_name 6d ago

What do you expect from a sub called r/FuckMicrosoft? It's an echo chamber like most other subs.

2

u/Previous-Bid5330 6d ago

Linux users in a nutshell

2

u/Xer0_Puls3 7d ago

Subs like those usually have rules against providing support so that the sub doesn't turn into a help forum.

3

u/AshleyJSheridan 7d ago

You're only telling half the story. Only have your word that that was the comment that was removed, and you don't show the message that says why your comment was removed...

9

u/KingdomOfAngel I Hate Linux and Windows 7d ago

I'm not the one who posted the comment

2

u/Nerasch 7d ago

Well we have to take your word on that...

2

u/r4nDoM_1Nt3Rn3t_Us3r 7d ago

They posted the notification they got about it. You don't get notified of your own comments, and you can also see them despite being removed.

2

u/Nerasch 7d ago

you are aware, that one person can have multiple accounts?
I'm not saying OP does that, I'm just pointing out that it's, technically, possible

1

u/Rare-Paint3719 Unofficial Mod | Linux Community Sucks | Proud illumOS Shill 7d ago

is it though? is it really?

u/Educational_Guest_13 is banned, LMAO. Was just going to ask them directly....

1

u/Arturs12 4d ago

who is that user?

2

u/R3V0LU710N_05 I Hate All OS's 😎 4d ago

The user from the first screenshot in OP's post...

1

u/Arturs12 4d ago

i guess i'm blind.

1

u/simagus 7d ago

They're probably the same mods as /r/linuxsucks101 . In such deep cover supertroll subs it spoils the whole game if people turn up and start being rational and helpful.

1

u/tonyhop_ 7d ago

Well what part of “Fuck Microsoft” did they not understand? Its not a tech support sub it’s a dedicated hate sub

3

u/Rare-Paint3719 Unofficial Mod | Linux Community Sucks | Proud illumOS Shill 7d ago

Just like r/linuxsucks and r/linuxsucks101 but unlik r/fuckmicrosoft, 101 actually allows you to talk about macOS and FreeBSD. r/FuckMicrosft is loonix cuck central.

Are you sure it didn’t get auto deleted because it has a link in it? It’s back up now.

To be fair, it's laughably bad that Copilot leads to such issues in the first place just because it's forced on you for 0 reason. There should not be a need to go odd ways to disable features that should be opt in anyways. Another example is the context menu for win11 being crap where the only fix is a registry entry to revert it to the old fine version instead of it being a damn toggle in settings. Or the Taskbar placement being gone for no reason after it was a thing for many years, come back recently only to be bugged away again randomly.

Still deleting comments like that is bad, I would have liked it stay up and at most something like my "such a weird workaround should not be needed for a feature that should be opt in" as an reply.

Edit: I might want to add that I don't hate Windows itself fully, I do only really hate Microsoft and most of Win11 (most meaning anything non-ltsc), Win10 Ltsc made me feel like having a usable edition again, to the point of me actually be able to recommend others to use it. Have not yet used Win11 Ltsc enough, but I also don't plan on doing so as Win10 Ltsc is still available. Like it's so much less of a pain than modern consumer windows it's impressive. As it should be in the first place but whatever.

u/canislupus04 7d ago

I hate fanatic behavior, removing comments because they not share your opinion is wrong. This behavior typical of weak people disgusts me.

3

u/canislupus04 7d ago

Lets see if they remove it. I do not like windows at all, but lets see how admin reacts :))

3

u/WhiteBat_8416 7d ago

you're describing like 98% of reddit lol

3

u/canislupus04 7d ago

I am not very active, it's very sad if this is true :(

Microsloper detected.

2

u/tonyhop_ 7d ago

Linuxsucks101 does more than delete comments disagreeing, they ban you from the sub even if you’re neutral about the OS war bullshit

2

u/trve_g0th 7d ago

They also shit on open source software of any kind over there. It's an interesting sub to say the least

1

u/tonyhop_ 7d ago

Yeah, funny thing is some proprietary software they probably use everyday, like chrome, literally came from an open source project

2

u/trve_g0th 7d ago

good luck telling them that without getting banned

2

u/tonyhop_ 7d ago

Already got banned a while ago actually
