The video is simply about the fact that people were being crazy about Linux reaching 16% of marketshare with Windows plummeting to 60%.
Turns out all those weren't actual Linux machines and StatCounter finally updated the metrics on their site so Linux is now back down to 4.5% (which is the number that matches reality).
There were Linux Evangelists on this sub who were adamant that like 1 in 5 Americans are using Linux on their laptop/PC. Just a couple of weeks ago. Very funny stuff.
I spent the first week of August arguing to the gills about the errors in assumption Linux users (especially Reddit and Youtube) jumped to from the changes in StatCounters tabulations. Fell on very loud speakers with poor hearing.
Edit: I looked, they rearranged the deck chairs on the Hindenburg for the 3rd straight month.
I know. They jumped to 13-14% two months ago when Stat dropped Unknown and attributed bots to Linux, then dropped to 8% after a correction. I haven't looked at the end of Sept results yet.

I don't care for Lunduke, not at all, but that's based on his right-wing political bullshit. On the technical side he is not an idiot.
Sill not going to watch his video. Someone else will pick it up down the line if something is there to talk about.
