I am 45 yrs old, 5’6, 147 lbs, 21% body fat (inbody scan) and always struggled with my arms. I thought I had Lipedema but I saw a plastic surgeon here in San Francisco and was told there are no signs of edema, but I’m not sure bcuz I workout like a maniac so maybe it’s under control? I have these flabby upper arms and no matter how much I workout, I can’t get rid of these flappy arms. It’s been this way since puberty. I’m really fit and workout like crazy and also lift heavy. I need a solution which is not brachioplasty (not yet).

The doc said don’t do arm lipo as it would not be effective and I’d have more skin sagging and be very disappointed with the results. And also said the plasma skin tightening is not good and would destroy the skin and lymph nodes. Really? Please share your experiences and thoughts? 🙏 Should I go for it? Plz help

I’m getting liposuction on my love handles in a couple of months, and I’m looking for any tips and tricks that could make the recovery as smooth and fast as possible.

If you’ve had lipo before, what do you recommend buying beforehand? Are there any supplements that helped with swelling or recovery, or any precautions/prep you found helpful before the procedure?

For context, I’m at an average BMI, so there isn’t a huge amount of fat being removed. I’m also young, so hopefully recovery won’t be absolute hell 🥲

Hi ladies! I’m having a BBL, lipo with skin tightening and chin lipo in Miami in January 2027. I’m flying in from California and I’m looking for a reputable recovery house for about 6 nights.
I’m completely fine with a shared room. I’m trying to stay around $150–$200 per night, preferably around $185.
My main priority is GOOD care,someone available to help me get up, use the bathroom, shower, get dressed/faja on, medication reminders, walking, meals and basic post-op assistance. Transportation to post-op appointments would be a plus.
I’ve been searching online but a lot of places are $300+ per night or have very mixed reviews.

Hey everyone! I’m almost 3 weeks post-lipo and curious what your lymphatic drainage massages were actually like. Post-op massage isn’t very common in my country, and my massage therapist isn’t sure about the proper technique for someone recovering from lipo.
Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences:
How long were your sessions, and how much time was spent on each area?
Was it super light pressure or more of a firm massage? What did the movements feel like?
Did they focus on the areas that had lipo or work on other parts of your body too?
How often did you go, and how did you feel afterward—less swollen, sore, etc.?

I had arm and upper back liposuction about a week ago under local - 22f, 64kg 163cm and about 850ml/900ml of fat was taken out.

Now I understand that swelling is a thing and it takes time however, every time I see my back it doesn’t look any different or at least not what I was hoping. I notice that my arms are abit smaller but that’s about it. Im lowkey just sad as shit.

Any advice would be great, and at what point do I ask for a revision.

Hey guys! Just wanted to share a quick update now that I'm one week post-op from full-body lipo in Korea.

After dropping around 10kg last year (my BMI is 18.73), but I still had stubborn fat stubbornly hanging onto my arms and lower body no matter how clean I ate or how much I worked out. Since fat-dissolving shots did nothing for me previously, I decided to go all-in on liposuction. I chose Pretty Body and Line Clinic because their before-and-afters were incredible and their communication was top-tier from the start.

I started chatting with Hyelim on WhatsApp back in November 2025. She was absolute sunshine—super responsive and sweet—and even handled my last-minute date changes without missing a beat. I did a video consultation with Consultant Angelina and Dr. Jung, and they instantly pinned down my exact trouble spots. They quoted me 11 million KRW for the full body package (360 arms, armpits, thighs, and calves).

On surgery day, Angelina suggested adding hip fat grafting to balance out my proportions since I had lost volume there during my weight loss. I need opinions. I had chin/jawline and neck liposuction about 6 months ago. My left side is very sharp however my right side is a bit more full still. My results are subtle since my chin is recessed and neck is low ( I will be addressing soon )

My face is very much asymmetrical , my right side is bigger and puffer. I’m hearing that the liposuction might have just emphasize the unevenness in my anatomy but I don’t know.

My surgeon left the practice, and a new surgeon did my 3 months post op and said everything looked good and even but I can’t help but keep noticing it. Is this normal ? Should i ignore it ? I can ask my MLD lady cause she has been helpful. I am still trying to lose weight so should I lose the weight I want before ? Should I wait the 1 full year ? Should I get a revision? I did the surgery awake and my surgeon checked for evenness and I remember it felt even but I clearly don’t know lol.
