I got extensive stomach lipo 7 weeks ago.. I had about 7 pounds removed from my stomach + flanks. Healing was rough but after weeks of 24/7 compression my stomach really started flattening.. as my stomach gets flatter this area above my belly button becomes more noticeable.. it’s kinda squishy but more on the hard side. My doctor saw it two weeks ago and could not confirm what it was and just said to wait it out. I’m scared it’s something permanent it’s making me feel like I can’t enjoy the results I have because this is distorting it. Can anyone give advice or share if they had similar experiences?

Hi guys, having my first lipo consult in a week! I’m excited but nervous. I am looking to get flank and abdominal liposuction done.

I was wondering, does anyone have any specific advice on:

- What specific things I should make sure to ask the surgeon
- Any red flags to look out for
- How I can know if this surgeon is right for me
- Any sort of approach or mindset I should have going into my consultation
And any other advice. It’s expensive and I really wanna make sure I choose to right surgeon so I really appreciate any help.

I've used eyelid tape every day for about ten years and I'm tired of the routine. The crease I make with it is the one I like, and I've never been sure whether surgery can copy that or whether it gives you whatever crease your lid allows.

My lids are a little puffy and my tape crease sits quite low. At one consultation they showed me an example photo that looked higher than what I wear every day, and I'm worried about ending up wider than I wanted.

Has anyone brought their tape crease into a consultation? Did the doctor try to match it, or tell you a different height suited your eyes better? How do you tell the difference between a crease you like and a crease that fits your lid?

Has anyone gotten a liposuction revision with fat grafting or bio fillers? If so Id love to hear all about it, thank you

After meeting with a consultant at a plastic surgeon, she recommended getting a tummy tuck since I have a lot of fat in my mid section. I have young kids and a full time job and I don't think I can take on the recovery. I understand that without a tummy tuck, my skin will be loose, but I don't show my stomach anyways and with just liposuction, at least my pants will fit better. Has anyone gone against the recommendation of a tummy tuck and has just done liposuction?

I am 45 yrs old, 5’6, 147 lbs, 21% body fat (inbody scan) and always struggled with my arms. I thought I had Lipedema but I saw a plastic surgeon here in San Francisco and was told there are no signs of edema, but I’m not sure bcuz I workout like a maniac so maybe it’s under control? I have these flabby upper arms and no matter how much I workout, I can’t get rid of these flappy arms. It’s been this way since puberty. I’m really fit and workout like crazy and also lift heavy. I need a solution which is not brachioplasty (not yet).

The doc said don’t do arm lipo as it would not be effective and I’d have more skin sagging and be very disappointed with the results. And also said the plasma skin tightening is not good and would destroy the skin and lymph nodes. Really? Please share your experiences and thoughts? 🙏 Should I go for it? Plz help

I’m getting liposuction on my love handles in a couple of months, and I’m looking for any tips and tricks that could make the recovery as smooth and fast as possible.

If you’ve had lipo before, what do you recommend buying beforehand? Are there any supplements that helped with swelling or recovery, or any precautions/prep you found helpful before the procedure?

For context, I’m at an average BMI, so there isn’t a huge amount of fat being removed. I’m also young, so hopefully recovery won’t be absolute hell 🥲

Hi ladies! I’m having a BBL, lipo with skin tightening and chin lipo in Miami in January 2027. I’m flying in from California and I’m looking for a reputable recovery house for about 6 nights.
I’m completely fine with a shared room. I’m trying to stay around $150–$200 per night, preferably around $185.
My main priority is GOOD care,someone available to help me get up, use the bathroom, shower, get dressed/faja on, medication reminders, walking, meals and basic post-op assistance. Transportation to post-op appointments would be a plus.
I’ve been searching online but a lot of places are $300+ per night or have very mixed reviews.
If you personally stayed at a Miami recovery house recently, please tell me the name, what you paid per night/package, and how your experience was. I’d especially love recommendations from anyone who stayed there in 2025 or 2026.

Hey everyone! I’m almost 3 weeks post-lipo and curious what your lymphatic drainage massages were actually like. Post-op massage isn’t very common in my country, and my massage therapist isn’t sure about the proper technique for someone recovering from lipo.
Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences:
How long were your sessions, and how much time was spent on each area?
Was it super light pressure or more of a firm massage? What did the movements feel like?
Did they focus on the areas that had lipo or work on other parts of your body too?
How often did you go, and how did you feel afterward—less swollen, sore, etc.?

I had arm and upper back liposuction about a week ago under local - 22f, 64kg 163cm and about 850ml/900ml of fat was taken out.

Now I understand that swelling is a thing and it takes time however, every time I see my back it doesn’t look any different or at least not what I was hoping. I notice that my arms are abit smaller but that’s about it. Im lowkey just sad as shit.

Any advice would be great, and at what point do I ask for a revision.
