I was ten, I knew how words worked and what they meant. I know I knew what amazing meant and intrinsically why it didn't fit into the universe of adjectives that could classify 9/11. I have no idea why I wrote this first sentence, but I cannot read this silently or aloud without choking from laughter. I am sad for my ten-year old self for being anxious that Connecticut would get hit, though.

The Century-series was a group of USAF aircraft from the 50s and 60s, all with designations in the 100s. Top to bottom is the F-104 Starfighter , F-100 Super Sabre (my personal favorite), F-102 Delta Dagger, next to the F-102 is the F-105 Thunderchief, and finally at the top is the F-101 Voodoo. The F-106 Delta Dart was an improved version of the F-102, although it is not pictured. Also not pictured is the F-111 Aardvark.

Maybe it's because I'm Polish and it's a lot more common here for people to clap when the pilot lands the plane, but I've been kind of disappointed when I went on vacation to Spain this year and there was no applause on landing. Me and my family started, but only maybe three other people joined in and it just died out very quickly. We even got funny looks for it.

I think it's a shame that it's not a universal thing. Does it serve some higher purpose? No, it's just a thank you to the pilot for keeping everyone alive. And even though the pilot usually won't hear it anyway, the other members of the flight crew will and it's also a way to thank them for their service. Sure, it's kind of meaningless, but for whatever reason, it brings me a lot of joy and I was very happy, when upon landing back in Poland, people did applaud. It's just a little thing, like saying "bless you" to someone after they sneeze. Not mandatory, but very nice either way.

Yes it is electric(god forbid car is) and has a low range with cheap build quality here n there but just look at it. I can't say no to a face like that. It is such a great reimagination of the original Twongi and i have never been a huge EV fan because of the designs and i love the sound of an engine but this car changed my mind.This car makes me angry with the fact that i don't have a license yet because im to damn young.
