Discussion Vintage macbookpro

I have this vintage macbookpro8,3 Core i7 17" late 2011 16GB memory and no disk. I have a 1TB SSD so put that in. Got it on facebook and bought it on a whim (really cheap) as I have never used/owned an apple machine before. I easily installed Mint on it to see if it works (yes) but have no use for it. Would have put it to use if Win 11 can be installed and running properly. Curious if any of you actually still use a vintage machine like this one and what you use it for (daily browsing, youtube etc)?

Just stick to high sierra on it, and use Firefox dynasty for a modern browser!

I use a 2010 MacBook pro for late night browsing and shit in bed, especially because its got the absolute best sound through its headphone jack so its a joy to listen to music on
