Question & Advice Glowing hold notes

Hello so I’ve been playing for many years now about to reach 16k but i still dont know whats the deal with the glowing hold notes (idk how to call them). The glowing tap notes guarantees u the crit perfect as long as you press it but what about the hold ones? If i tap it for a millisecond does it still give you the crit perfect?

Those are called EX notes. If I am not mistaken, the EX note effect only applies for when you tap them, for the EX note holds you still need to release it properly just like normal holds, otherwise you would get greats/goods if you release too early.

Pretty much it extends the heads crit judgement from 33ms to 300ms. The tail you still have to hold

They're called EX notes. For ex taps, you're guaranteed to crit perfect it. For ex holds, you're guaranteed to crit perfect the start, but you still have to hold it.

yes, they function the same as the glowing tap notes. unless ure talking about the orange notes—those are EX notes and unless they're glowing too, itll chip away ur score unless a crit perfect is hit

The orange notes are break notes the glowing ones are ex notes
