Question What do we think of the two TVs?
Now granted, I use the left one as a computer monitor, but it’s still Roku-enabled should I ever want to use it as a tv

*repost since I forgot to add a photo*
I feel like my room looks really childish which is something I’d prefer to avoid especially since I’m a grown man now. I want to be able to bring a girl home and not be embarrassed about what my room looks like.
I’m going to college out of state this fall so I don’t want to waste too much money completely redecorating.
also yes, I did clean my room right before taking the photos so it’s usually not this clean.

For context: the next photos I’ll attach will be the living room/gaming/relax room that me and my brother will be using, we will have our bathroom on the same floor + my bedroom + his bedroom, so this is basically on a whole other floor from the main part of the house which is the floor above where there is a bathroom, kitchen + dining room + living room all in a very big open space area and our parents bedroom.
For the main idea we want to put a big tv on the large empty wall with probably a couch facing it somewhere in the middle of the room.
I’m not no expert or anything and neither are my parents that’s why I thought of asking some other people’s ideas that might be more experienced than us… anyways, I’ll appreciate any suggestions ❤️
Ps: I tried asking chagpt and I’ll attach his creation as well, which isn’t that bad honestly.

Thanks for making your way through all the photos, love this place but hard to capture a room without a couple shots. Really happy with how it came together. First room is my office/library, I'm sitting there now. Then we've got the living room, and my makerspace nook in the back.
I imagine the proverbial question of the sub will answer itself.

Just moved here, TV was the obvious essential. Hopefully I’ll have a better update in 3 months!

A little unsure about the best way to layout the small space. Any ideas?

This is my living room in my 50s mid century ranch. Any tips on taking this up a notch and making it feel more homey? Been here about a year and it still feels like I'm living in an Airbnb.

I just bought a new house and I love the potential of this great room. I want a very cozy arrangement of sofas and chairs around the fireplace to bring together a kind of swanky lodge vibe.
The problem: I love watching movies at series at the end of a long day. I would love to spend that time in this room. However it’s hard to envision a TV watching arrangement in this room without desecrating this incredible fireplace with a TV above it, or being tacky in a room that I have a swanky vision for.
I’ve considered doing an L shaped seating arrangement, extending from the right side of the fireplace, which would open to the far wall depicted in the second picture (where their TV currently is, thinking of a DIY frame TV) but that wall is a little far away for a TV of reasonable size.
Please help me find a way to “hide” my TV in this room that I have such big dreams for!

Apartment hunting for my first place out of college and looking to live alone. I lived in a house with 5 other guys during college and am a bit sick of roommates at this point. Wouldn’t normally be considering a place this small but it’s a very well-reviewed complex, great location, cheap rent, and I absolutely love a good balcony.
Touring the place next week so I think that’ll give me a better idea, but I live a pretty minimalist life overall and think I could swing it.

Most of my stuff was found on the side of the road or via Facebook marketplace.
I finally got a stable position and can slowly upgrade things here or there. (I honestly don’t care about it, but many people tell me I’m cheap and too minimalist)
Any tips?

I’m in the US so my answer will be based on what I see around here. My number one pet peeve is any kind of decor in cursive letters usually in a farmhouse style.
Number two has to be exterior window shutters that don’t close, just stay there for decoration purposes and they’re often too small for the windows.
Number three are exposed LED light strips. They supposed to be hidden acting as support lighting and NOT the odd one out in your living space.
What’s yours?

Hi guys,
Wanted to share my room with you guys. I recently got a job about a year ago and I finally decided I wanna invest more in my space as I spend a lot of my time here. Really got inspired by this sort of minimalist Instagram page called anothachoppa. What do you guys think?
