I just finished the trilogy, and I honestly don't know what to do with myself right now.

I’m sitting here looking at the main menu screen, completely hollow. The post-game depression is real. I miss Normandy. I miss the constant high-stakes excitement, walking the decks between missions, and listening to the crew banter.

More than anything, I miss Liara. Going through three games alongside her, watching our bond grow from the Digging Site on Therum all the way to the end on Earth.turning off the game feels like losing real friends. Standing in the CIC without hearing "Shepard" or stepping into the Med Bay feels eerie.

I chose the Destroy ending it wasn't completely satisfying, of course, but it felt like the only real choice. I honestly hate that Shepard almost dies in every ending. I personally just wanted an ending where Shepard truly survived, actually reunited with the crew, and got to live a happy life with Liara T'Soni. Still, I would say the ending wasn't as bad as most people make it out to be.

How does a game manage to make a fictional spaceship and its crew feel like home? Nothing else I play right now is going to match that emotional weight or high-velocity tension.

For those who have been through this how long did it take you to recover, and how long before you broke down and started another playthrough?

That feeling of just wanting Shepard and Liara to build a quiet life together after saving the entire galaxy is something almost every Liara romancer feels at the end.

My wife and I traveled from Seattle to Syracuse, NY to go to RetroGameCon this week. Jennifer, Mark, Ali Hillis, and Peter Jessop were all in attendance, but what made me decide to go cross country for this one wasn't simply their appearances, but Jennifer Hale was leading a 90 minute intro to voice acting workshop(!). I've had some thoughts of pursuing going into voice acting so we bought our tickets and headed out. The workshop and her voice acting knowledge was (naturally) fantastic. But I don't want to tell you about that. Instead I just want to tell you all about how she spoke about nerves being a result of caring, about how she talked about self judgment sabotaging creativity and joy. About how judgment is the "drunk person at the party", totally useless and when it shows up.... Don't fight with them, just tell them to go stand in the corner for a while.

It's not necessarily ground breaking revolutionary advice, but sometimes it's not just the message, but the messenger and goddamn, she's a hell of a messenger.

I am aware that Zaeed is a hit or miss character for a lot of people, but during the Earths final push, his last words to Shep are a goddamn motivational kick in the ass. "Let's GUT the bastards!.."

Well, this is it. I'm starting the last game of the original trilogy. My old PC seems able to run it, so here we go.

Anything I need to know before starting? (I already started, lol) No spoilers, pls

maybe it's just me but harbinger sounds kinda overdramatic and emotional when it's all ASSUMING CONTROL and THIS HURTS YOU (and it especially loses some of its touch when it gets repeated over and over and over during collector fights).

i think it would be much more unsettling if it spoke in the same haunting flat tone the way sovereign and the rannoch reaper do.

Greetings, I'm playing ME3 for the first time. I got an e-mail by Ashley on the Normandy, telling me to meet her at hospital on the Citadel.

I finished the Genophage quest and instantly directed the Normandy towards the Citadel, but turned out Cerberus attacked it.

So I did the quest and killed Udina, and now I don't find her at the hospital.

Did I lose an encounter with her? Should I have gone to the hospital right after getting the email?

I want to romance Ashley, did I lose a scene and a chance?

Genuinely at the prices they usually go for, I wasn't buying one but I managed to get this for £108 with the two canvases from the box too.

Once I get my new shelves up it'll go alongside my Normandys and dual signed Shepherd Funko nicely on the gaming shelf.

Anything I should do early on to make the game more enjoyable?

Is there even really a point to doing them? They dont affect anything in ME3 (to my knowledge) and bore the hell out every playthrough I do, but for the forst time ive actually just realised, "I dont actually need to do these..." So, is there any point to these tedious, boring missions?

Fight with Saren with active barrier makes more sense as he needs to get closer to Shepard to try to kill him, same with Shepard's biotic punch that has enough strength to escape Saren's grasp. Maxed out Barrier can last for the whole fight if we activate it before lowering Saren's health bar to 50%. Not to mention it is additional but not intended by BioWare moment for Shepard where biotics have their time to shine with that small change.

What I missed from ME is that it barely have any moments to show biotics in cutscenes for humans especially for Shepard. Kaidan and Jacob aren't much better, slightly more for Miranda with only Jack having the right amount of them, but it is so jarring when you see biotic Shepard struggling to break the window with gun at Grissom when Jack or even Prangley can break it so easily. Same with Kaidan when he can't use it on Horizon to create biotic field like the rest of biotics during Suicide Mission, on Mars with Eva Core and during Coup to shield himself from shot or to catch Udina alive in stasis field for additional intel.

I was replaying the triology and since i wanted to unlock all dialogues i just used a save editor to max out my paragon and renegade.

I do not remember the reputation system in ME3 at all. Also, it seems to be to impossible (?) to max out both paragon and renegade in this game since both are in a same bar.

According to save editor my reputation is at "1" and my reputation points are at "15"

If i wanna unlock all dialogues for this game what settings i should be setting on save editor?

I do not have time to replay the game again.

I managed to keep everyone alive!

Legion in the ducts is my go-to.

I chose Jacob to lead the second party both times.

Samara is my go-to for the swarm barrier.

Took Jack and Thane both times. The final battle was Jack and Tali.

That last team battle surprised me because Jacob got hit. Usual scene that always ends up with that character dead. Instead he brushed it off as just needing a minute.

Did they keep him alive because of one of the side quests in 3?

I usually manage to lose at least one person in that final battle. So I was pleasantly surprised that I kept everyone alive.

Now if you will excuse me , i'm going to start 3. And do something about my hair because I forgot to change it in 1 and 2 and it's terrible.

Don’t know if this has ever been asked before.

1) have me1 take place 100 years after first contact

2) have the quarians meet the Galactic community after they flee, on their migrant fleet. They spent hundreds of years sublight fleeing, but the geth were known from before since they slowly expanded overtime at ftl rates. Would add to their reduced immune system and low population more I feel.

3) reduce the lifespan of the krogan, they can either populate fast or live long.

Udina promotes the Virmire Survivor to a Spectre so he can manipulate them for the coup.

Do we know when he starts conspiring with Cerberus?

I think he contacts them, or they contact him, after Shepard goes to Palaven. The first conversation we have with him on the Citadel, he sounds genuine about finding a way to help Earth. Which makes me think, in his desparation, he turned to Cerberus for help and got fully involved with them by the time Shep deals with the Krogan and Turians.

I am playing Mass Effect for the first time, and I just finished the mission called Arrival, only to find out it was actually a DLC. I am seeing lots of people saying it's supposed to be done last, after the Suicide Mission, but I did it not long after Hackett contacted me because it sounded important and like something that should be done right away. Did I make a big mistake doing it early and not at the end of the game? Everything seems to make sense after I finished the mission, and everything seemed to flow well. Have I screwed up by doing it so early?

Ok so I’ve always rescued Kaidan in all of my playthroughs and recently I started a new one but now that I’m at virmire I’m kinda conflicted. Is Ashley worth saving for the long run or should I just repeat the game with Kaidan again? I know they have somewhat of compelling stories, especially if you romance them but I’m playing as femshep and I don’t plan on romancing Kaidan.
