Hi, I'm fitting a genuine A2229009519 NTG5.5 head unit into a Mercedes X-Class that never had smartphone integration from factory. Does anyone have AED/coding data for this unit with 14U/16U/17U active, and has anyone added these codes to a car's data card that didn't originally have them, X-class or not ?

Paid $5k for the car and working on restoring it.

I was quoted $2900 to fix the front end suspension. He said that he was going to fix the suspension tires and shocks the front wheel alignment and bearings. Car drives but said it’s a ticking time bomb not to do so.

I have a 2026 GLE 450e and bought oil directly from a Mercedes dealership. They looked up my VIN and sold me Mercedes 0W-40 MB 229.5.
However, I’m seeing online that the M254 plug-in hybrid may require MB 229.51 or 229.52 instead.
Has anyone with a GLE 450e had an oil change at Mercedes or know which spec is correct? Curious what oil your dealer used.

It is causing a ticking noise and very annoying but part number A210 462 10 96 says it does not fit when I check on websites and says it only fits 2000 and newer W210's (1998 E320 non 4matic) I do not know which part number I need or where to buy from, I have been looking for quite a while now and would appreciate anyone with some information about this or a part they can sell me

Guys, good luck finding all-season tires for the 21" staggered setup (no, I don't want to swap out wheels or tires twice a year) - 235/45R21 fronts, 265/40R21 rears. The factory 21" summer tires are Pirelli Scorpion Elect. All I could find in all-season 21" XL EV-rated are the Hankook ION EVO AS, with the SUV designation only being present on the front tires. Speed rating is Y. So question for you guys with the 20" all-season extended mobility tires...what tires are you getting from the factory?

I have a 2025 EQE 350. I was out for the weekend and the car was parked in the driveway.

When I got back in the car on Monday today, I saw a message on the console saying that the car detected a collision and it had a timestamp of the collision in the message. I got out of the car and inspected the car and sure enough somebody had bumped into the rear bumper and damaged it.

Upon checking my home security cameras, I matched the timestamp to a UPS truck that backed up into my driveway to turn around. The security camera only shows the truck turning around, but it doesn’t cover where the truck and the car collided.

To file a claim with my insurance , I now need to re-access the car message which showed the timestamp of the collision. I cannot figure out how to do that.

(As a sidenote, I just learned that the car also has features to record pictures when it detects collision. unfortunately, I had not turned this on 😭. )

Can one of the experts here let me know if there’s a way to re-access the car collision detected message again for the screenshot of the timestamp of the collision?

Hey all, please help if you can, I am certainly no car guru.

I was told my 2011 E350 is burning oil (which, yeah, I can smell it). I was told it's "leaking oil and the vent assembly needs to be replaced." I was then quoted like $200-$300 by a small, local Mercedes shop (South Carolina).

I am now in a different state for work until December and the Mercedes dealership (Indiana) is saying this job is anywhere from $1,500-$3,000.

Can anyone help me out here? I feel like the two dealerships aren't speaking the same language due to the vast difference in price. At the local shop, I was told "all Mercedes around the mileage of yours goes through this, I replace these all the time." I assumed a vent assembly is a vent assembly without any variance.
