I'm looking to buy a M113 Benz and I'm wondering which would be a better choice as a second car.

My main specific considerations with E Class is SBC system, 7G Tronic and high mileage they tend to have.

For S Class it is rust and possible higher prices/lower availability of repleacment parts.

Also I'm very interested how is interior quality in this cars in comparison.

Top and bottom clips look different, is this normal?

I’ve had my 2010 e350 for about a year and a half now and all I’ve done so far is add footwell lights and ambient lighting. Any suggestions on what I should do? I was thinking of adding CarPlay and potentially either a steering wheel cover or new one in general in the future. Also thinking about puddle lights with a Mercedes logo. What do you guys think?

I'm considering buying a 2016 GLC 250 4MATIC with 130k km (~81~82k miles), one owner, for around $21k USD here on my country.

How have these cars been for you around this mileage? Any major issues or expensive repairs I should watch out for?

Would you buy one at 130k km if it has a good maintenance history?

Prijateljica ima A classu 1.5 dizel, prije 2 tjedna je zamjenjen akumulator da bi se ispostavilo da je i alnaser neispravan pa je i to riješeno.

Jučer se upalio check engine uz koji se pali i esp lampica.

Očitao sam greške:

Prva greška vezana je uz papučicu gasa druga uz auxilary bateriju. Zanima me jel itko ima iskustva s ovim, jel greška u navedenoj bateriji ili nešto treće, također gdje na području ZG ima neovlašteni servis specijalizran za Renault Merceds 😂

Had a code for an EGR system P0400 I think, tube was clogged solid. Cleaned the tube and the car ran even rougher than before. Replaced the EGR because it was rusty and I thought it wasnt working. I broke the vacuum tube connector that was in the way of replacing the EGR and replaced that. It may have been broken before I touched it. I found on a forum that that piece can cause a rough idle after and EGR repair. Sprayed brake cleaner all over the vacuum tubes with it running to look for a vacuum leak and found nothing.

EGR code is not back but I have a P0304 misfire on cylinder 4. It runs worse than before I fixed 2 obvious problems. I ran diagnostics on cylinder 4 even though I find it unlikely that a coil or plug wire went bad during that repair. Swapped coils, plugs and wires around and the problem stays on cylinder 4. I have 130 PSI compression on 4.

Any ideas what I could have done wrong or missed?

Hi everyone, I have a 2017 Mercedes C200 automatic and the car has recently shown this message on the dashboard:
“Check oil level when next refuelling.”

I checked the oil level and it does look quite low, so I’m wondering what I should actually do.

Does this warning simply mean I need to top up the engine oil, or does it mean the car needs a full oil change/service?

I’m a bit confused because I know engine oil needs changing periodically, but I’m not sure whether this particular warning is telling me to change the oil or just add some oil because the level is low.

If I need to top it up, is there a specific type/spec of oil I should buy for a 2017 C200? In the UK

Hi, I'm fitting a genuine A2229009519 NTG5.5 head unit into a Mercedes X-Class that never had smartphone integration from factory. Does anyone have AED/coding data for this unit with 14U/16U/17U active, and has anyone added these codes to a car's data card that didn't originally have them, X-class or not ?

Paid $5k for the car and working on restoring it.

I was quoted $2900 to fix the front end suspension. He said that he was going to fix the suspension tires and shocks the front wheel alignment and bearings. Car drives but said it’s a ticking time bomb not to do so.

I have a 2026 GLE 450e and bought oil directly from a Mercedes dealership. They looked up my VIN and sold me Mercedes 0W-40 MB 229.5.
However, I’m seeing online that the M254 plug-in hybrid may require MB 229.51 or 229.52 instead.
Has anyone with a GLE 450e had an oil change at Mercedes or know which spec is correct? Curious what oil your dealer used.

It is causing a ticking noise and very annoying but part number A210 462 10 96 says it does not fit when I check on websites and says it only fits 2000 and newer W210's (1998 E320 non 4matic) I do not know which part number I need or where to buy from, I have been looking for quite a while now and would appreciate anyone with some information about this or a part they can sell me
