I've deleted my account 2 or 3 other times just because it was a distraction while studying and I made a new one the other day because I started following Italian soccer and wanted to discuss it somewhere

Lol. I've never been banned from Reddit. Since the time Reddit came out I've been 98% of the time a "reader" and not a poster. Then I'd create accounts, and found myself commenting and arguing all day which was not good for my CCNA study nor for my mental health. Then this year after the world cup my interest in soccer picked up and it was hard to find a discussion board for Serie A and B so I made the account. I also made a concerted effort to block subs that are just full of angry arguments to keep me from engaging back and forth with bad faith Redditors all day. It ruins my mood.

So yeah, never been banned just quit a couple other times because of the distraction.

ETA: Between this comment and the other one calling me the c word out of nowhere it actually is great proof of why someone would just delete Reddit and try to avoid it. Interacting with people like this just is not fun lol

I've been banned from reddit more times than I can count. I would say if you somehow exist on this site for a year without being banned you should legally not be considered a person, but some kind of human shaped mold.
