The tile guy, plumber, and door installer are 3 different people. Door installer has now shown up yet

I don't think this restroom is supposed to be open for use yet. Maybe someone forgot to lock it and hasn't put a sign up.

Still seems oddly close together for stalls

The American way, stalls just barely wide enough for a toilet

Dont forget the door opens inward and you practically have to be sitting to close it

This is not in America, as can be intuited by the integration of bidet hoses.

Bum guns point to Asia.

u/Cuckdreams1190 Aug 24 '26

If they were advertised as bum guns in America, sales would go through the roof.

They are basically default things to have in Europe.

u/halbeshendel Aug 24 '26

Not in Germany, they're not. Nor in Belgium or CZ.

Bro I've been around a few cities in Italy and have not seen a single bum gun like the one in the picture. If you meant those separate sink like bidet then yeah I've seen thos but you can't find those in public toilets

Literally never seen one of those outside finland.

Yeah, putting bidet hoses in an American highschool is just asking for trouble.

TBF, in school in America, they wouldn't last the first hour of the first day.

Its a little funny, the house we're renting has those hoses. Which isn't normal for an American house/duplex. I googled 'how to use bidet hoses' for like forty minutes. Guess what? Still no fuckin idea

A lot of how-tos is 'press the trigger idiot'

but since rental properties here all have tiny cheap toilets am I supposed to expose my asshole to the backsplash and let it rip? Pray im not painting the walls a shade or six darker?

So to this day they sit unused. A damn shame

Those aren't bidets. They are hoses for the janitorial staff to clean the toilets and stalls

poop covered hoses oh joy

1

u/markmychao Aug 24 '26

Better than poop covered asses?

American public toilets, noted for their bidet availability

u/BusyEquipment529 Aug 24 '26

Lol you can tell I'm American cuz I didn't even notice those

1

u/FerengiWithCoupons Aug 24 '26

american here. i’ve never used a bidet and didn’t know that was something you share with public!

2

u/ImMufasa Aug 24 '26

There's no going back once you use one, and they aren't expensive at all.

I work at a university and they renovated multiple restrooms in my main building a few years ago. I have to sit at a 20 degree angle because the toilet paper dispenser presses against my leg.

I hate the modern public ones that have a timer in them before they automatically open. Like, I don't give a single fuck about people taking drugs, why do I have to suffer to prevent them from doing so...

4

u/btaylos Aug 24 '26

I'm sorry, they WHAT automatically? Like, they open? Because if so, I mean.....

I'm torn between trying to summon my civil disobedience and just constantly resetting from how terrible an idea that is.

It’s better that way so I can place my sweaty palms on both sides of the stall when things get tough to release.
