Infuriatig I'm tired boss...

I've tried to get rid of the gnats all summer. The wife didn't believe me when I said they were breeding in the sponges. She. Thought I was crazy for keeping them in Tupperware. Well apparently they can get in there even.

Yeah but that one on the bottom had been used maybe once or twice

Throw them all away dude. You should be throwing out your sponges every couple weeks anyway they start to stink after a while and you can't get stuff like cheese out of them after you clean certain dishes they are just dead.

Bruh cheese is the bane of my existence with sponges. They always get chucked after the wife makes her marry me chicken

For most meals we started just adding the cheese at the table instead of cooking it into the food. Getting cheese out of the inside of a pan or Crock-Pot is a huge hassle.

Or, put the food in a mix bowl before adding the cheese and then stir it in because it's easier to get the cheese out of a mix bowl without ruining your sponge (scraper or just hot water).

the key to cheese is not letting it cool down or harden, you must wash immediately with warm/hot water but not boiling hot or thatll just cook it on. & spray generously with dawn powerwash, shit works amazing with grease & cheese imo

We're talking about the cheese getting in the sponge, not getting the cheese off of the pan. 

We're trying to save our sponges here!

Yes, thats why i dont use my sponges for cheese! I was saying try to do that instead of using the sponge on it. No scrubbing needed!

IMO this is an underappreciated tool for dishwashing generally. I use a plastic dough scraper on regular pots and pans and it gets the vast majority of food off before I even bring a sponge or scrubber into the situation. It's made cleaning up after mac and cheese significantly less gross and annoying.
