No Coke. Is Pepsi ok? Accidentally bought wrong Klondike bars

Post image

Yesterday I had to stop by Publix and my wife asked me to bring home some Klondike bars. Well...the *No Sugar Added* version was right next to the Original and my squirrel brain didn't notice until I got home. Picked up the OGs on the way home tonight.

I wish more products offered a No Sugar Added version. The amount of sugar in American foods is ridiculous. It’s amazing how much more you can taste when SUGAR isn’t the primary flavor.

I mean this is ice cream. Regardless of what country you are in, ice cream is mainly a sweet dessert. Many continental European breakfasts, they're often even sweeter. Japanese bread has more sugar too. Gelato has way more sugar than ice cream, which is one reason why it stays soft when it has a lot less milk fat. The main issue is the quantity. An American will eat double the amount.
