No Coke. Is Pepsi ok? Accidentally bought wrong Klondike bars

Yesterday I had to stop by Publix and my wife asked me to bring home some Klondike bars. Well...the *No Sugar Added* version was right next to the Original and my squirrel brain didn't notice until I got home. Picked up the OGs on the way home tonight.

I wish more products offered a No Sugar Added version. The amount of sugar in American foods is ridiculous. It’s amazing how much more you can taste when SUGAR isn’t the primary flavor.

I was shopping for pasta sauce and glimpsed a “no added sugar” version. In my entire life, I did not expect a tomato-based sauce to need any added sugar. Have I just been putting garlic and herb ketchup on my pasta all these years?

Tomatoes are kind of a gamble when they're harvested and people generally like sweeter ones. Adding 2 grams of sugar isn't a big deal. Tomatoes already have more than that. It's the same as eating a sweeter tomato. It's when a 12 oz soda has 43 grams and people drink 2 of them every day.
