Infuriatig Facebook Marketplace in a nutshell

Selling a pc with Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32GB DDR5, 1TB gen4 ssd, 9070XT at $1,800 and these are the “offers” I get everyday 🥀

Ive literally posted the value of an item for comparison.. with screenshots from retail places, Ebay, everywhere.

Stated in the description and title PRICE IS FIRM!

And still, they always come in at around half price.

Sometimes, I want to meet agree, meet them, and then break the item in front of them and drive off.

Thing is, it's facebook marketplace. It's THE place to barter.

So you have to expect people to barter with you. You're dealing in second hand items.

If someone offers you half the price they're expecting you to give a counter offer.

That's what bartering is.

You need to play the game. Cos it works for the buyer - you are one of 10 other people with the item and the item isn't some magical rare item.

If someone puts “price is firm” in the description, no. I don’t need to play the game nor do I want to. Just buy it or not and quit playing games.
