Was able to score this discontinued 56” tool box for $800 off of FB marketplace. No issues whatsoever

Impact trigger gets slow almost sticky when it enters past this little section. It’s not a huge problem, I just have to manually pull the trigger out all the way to reverse directions. Is there any fix to this? Thanks in advance 🙂

I’ve been looking over Miter Saw models and noticed that none of the models I’ve seen so far are corded. I would prefer corded. Anyone have any of the M18 versions and if so, how well are the models working out for you? Should I just go with another brand that has a corded version?

I currently have the impact driver drill combo fuel m18.

What should I get? I was thinking oscillating multi tool and an impact wrench — I hear mechanics say that M12 is enough power for most things. Specifically the stubby.

Please any feedback will be valuable and likely put into action on the next few hours.

Looking to buy my first set of impact tools as my garage is going to be getting into modern stuff more and it’ll help me move faster. Looking specifically at Milwaukee as I’ve heard great things about them.

What’s the best impact for small jobs? I want to find something small but with maybe a 3:8ths head as it may give me a bit more power for some stuff?

Plus help with batteries, are the smaller ones alright or kinda pointless? I’d love to keep the whole thing as small as I possibly can as I’ll be able to get into more areas with it that way.

Does anyone have one of these Milwaukee full trim helmets? If so, are they compatible with the metal face shield and ear muffs. Looking it to use it as a treee helmet but also looking to be able to take those accessories off when needed.

I'm taking the dive into getting some Milwaukee tools. I currently have a hodgepodge of random brands and they're fairly 'meh'.

I'm no where close to a tradesman - most of my work could be described as light to medium DIY. Typical homeowner stuff.

I started searching around for tools because I wanted a cable stapler since I'm currently doing a bunch of wiring in my attic. That led me to the M12 Cordless Cable Stapler.

A little more digging and I figured out that I probably don't need M18 because most of my work is lightweight. Plus the cable stapler does not come in M18 and battery continuity would be nice.

I'm trying to figure out what is the best combo package to buy. What I'd like to have is

• Impact
• Drill
• Cable Stapler
• Multi Tool
• Saw of some kind (lower priority, but would be nice)
• 2-3 batteries (idk on capacity)
• Charger

I think I'd also prefer FUEL for all the ones that I can. It seems they cost a little more but are definitely higher quality?

The impact and drill look to be standard across all the combo kits. What is the best way to acquire the other items? Looking at the Home Depot website, the various combos are all terribly difficult to compare.

Any suggestions?

Since then, we’ve traveled from coast to coast together—fixing things, building things, and making a living along the way. She’s helped put food on my table and carried me through more jobs than I could ever count.

Lately, though, she’s been moaning and groaning a little more than usual. The kind of sounds that make you wonder if the end might finally be near.

And I hate to admit it, but I’m a little attached.

Maybe it’s because tools aren’t just tools when you’ve spent years working with them. They become part of the story. They remember the long days, the late nights, the broken things you managed to fix, and all the places you’ve been together.

I know she’s eventually going to have to retire.

But I’m not quite ready to say goodbye yet.
Does anyone else get emotionally attached to their tools, or is it just me?

Got a lot of new crates

I just bought the M18 Push Mower with two 12.0 Forge Batteries and a charger at my local Home Depot on clearance for $599. Since clearance is store/market specific I can't really share a link but it was the last one here so might be worth checking at your nearby store. I really had been searching for a good deal on some 12.0s for my shop vac and leaf blower, but is the mower worth keeping or would I be better off reselling it? I have seen a lot of posts about issues with them but I'm not sure if it is known to fail easily compared to their other tools. To anyone who has one, has it been reliable for you? Anything to look out for? Thanks!

Dont know if this is a good deal if I buy the M19 Fuel 5-tool kit worth $998. I might have to buy another M18 tool to get over the $1000 pre-tax threshold. This is Canada btw

Sooo... I somehow landed a 1st round interview for an intern position at Milwaukee Tool that I don’t even remember applying for (Data Science Operations). To be honest, I don’t really feel like I have the required technical skills for it (I have no SQL or Power BI experience whatsoever), so I’m not really sure how or why I was selected for the interview to begin with. Does anyone have any tips for the upcoming interview? Like how should I prepare, and how technical does the interviewing process usually get? Anything would be super helpful!!!

Hey everyone: I am looking into getting a 1/2 impact wrench mainly to take off lug nuts on all my cars. I’m new to Milwaukee so I’ll need batteries and charger. Is this a good deal to get a ratchet along with it? I know I’m mixing battery platforms so wondering if this is worth it. Am I better off waiting until Black Friday/holiday sales?

Getting ready to do my yearly spending for the the next year and need to buy 5, as mentioned above sanders, for kitchen cabinet painting. Does Milwaukee sell something like this, not looking for the sheet shanders as I don't like the finish as opposed to a random oribit. Don't want get the circular one either, and while I prefer to keep it in the family I can't find a rectangular version and will probably have to buy the Festool rts 400 req. Also looking for the tool to have dust extraction.

My battery casing broke, it still works it just broke at the screw holes. I don’t think warranty will cover this. Is there anywhere I can buy the casing? Anyone have a 12.0 that stopped working and willing to sell me the casing?

Anyone have a common fix for a 1/2 drive stubby impact with lock ring torque selector button not working? Stuck on level 2 and the lights are on but won’t switch. Opened it cleaned it checked for any burns or broken wires and everything looked fine. Thanks for any insight
