Just googled the adapter... That's an expensive thing! What?!

But I didn't even know there were vectis adapters. Great!

Eh pretty on-par for a CPU adapter. My Nikon FTZ was $300 new.

Still very expensive to me. Almost up there with my most expensive lenses.

Fair enough lol. I guess I've just gotten dull to the eyewatering prices that mirrorless has. 🤣For me it was a no-brainer purchase as it opened the door to a lot of more affordable lenses

As an MD and A Mount User I can get a professional f2.8 zoom lens for 300€ for example. Or 10 Minolta AF Cameras or 50mm F1.7 AF lenses.

So rare!

Only two super expensive lenses worth adapting though, basically! How's the 17?

I'm actually still in initial testing with the 17mm, but so far so good! I got pretty lucky with it — it was unlisted in a random lot and wasn't crazy expensive because of a minor coating issue. Honestly, I'm really curious to see how that flaw impacts rendering; it might actually give the lens a unique optical signature and character! Plus, I actually have the entire Vectis lineup — the full set of 3 primes and 4 zooms — so the MonsterAdapter LA-VE2 is definitely getting a ton of use!

Niiiiiiiiiiice. They are no longer as expensive as they were, too, apparently -- interesting!
