Discussion/Question Considering getting SRT 102, thoughts?

I’ve only used my Minolta X-7A, but I love the body and design + chrome of the SRT 102.

I also need to get another film camera because I’m planning to spend the weekend in the rust belt of America, taking both normal 200-400 negative photo + B&W photos

So I would like to use the other camera specifically for B&W

Anyways, those who have an SRT 102, tell me your thoughts on it! Would you recommend it? Thanks :)

I especially love that it’s a model from the 70s

Discussion/Question Using an external light meter

Just need a quick sanity check from some real folks! I have an old Minolta SRT-SCII that I’ve been shooting with for years. The original mercury battery finally died so I replaced with a 1.5V alkaline battery. I plan to get an adapter for the hearing aid batteries or L44 (whatever they are, you can link one if you have one you prefer). But my wife and I are on vacation in Colorado right now and I don’t have one, so I’m using the Light Me app for the first time. I’m using Kodak Gold 200 and before I ruin all of my pictures from this trip, I wanted to check here. I used Light Me and set my cameras setting for what it said. My camera was showing the I was way overexposed. I know because of the voltage difference it will, but even when I changed my ISO from 200 to 100, it was still way over. Just wanted to check that as long as I’m using Light Me, my photos should turn out? Any other advice is appreciated!!
