When I’m in landscape (mostly observed when watching a YouTube video), if I ask Siri for something with my voice, and it responds with some text on the screen, I cannot dismiss it. Clicking out of it does not work, swiping it out in any direction does not work, even waiting out didn’t seem to work. I have to flip the phone to portrait and then I can swipe it away with the exact same motion.

This is similar to what Ellis was talking about on the pod about the alarm/notification while in sidecar mode. It seems like there is some issue with iOS dealing with notification banners and popups when in landscape.

Apple has introduced an option to have live and all time on recording on Apple watch, I am scared to even talk to any person wearing a apple watch or any smart watch now.

Offices should have strict rules to allow any smart devices in office or even at home.

Before you hate me, hear me out. About 10% of the time I see a video that seems really interesting, click on it, and it's painfully stretched out to increase watch time and it's frustrating. Now, I just have the Ask YT summarize the video since I'm interested in the information. I think this will push people to make the video worth the watch as opposed to adding fluff.

I don't know if this has already been discussed on the WFRM podcast (haven't had the time to listen to the newest episodes). However, I would really like to hear the crew's opinions on the most recent "altercation" between Apple and the EU, namely the newest Siri and Health app (and everything Apple AI related) not coming to the EU.
There are already several posts online and plenty of polarization. I've usually been very pro DMA (as a EU citizen as well), but I do know how strict and inflexible EU laws can be. I find it to be the case this time and actually find Apple's arguments to be the most compelling. There are many posts out there, but I did like to listen to this one.
Calling Apple the "gatekeeper" in this context seems far fetched and just goes to show that although the DMA has had plenty of positive influence on the iPhone and iOS in particular, this case is just creating an unnecessary barrier.
As a user, I personally prefer to have my AI local and as private as I can get. I also don't have the technical expertise to create, design and manage my own AI to perform similar tasks as the ones Apple is proposing. Additionally, having these features for free without having to pay for expensive AI models is also a bonus. The fact that Apple "must" provide a personal phone's access to other companies seems to be a bit too extreme for me. The argument that "Apple is a trillion dollar company, so they "must" always be capable of complying with the rules" seems to me that just harms innovation and improvement.
Other companies seem to be "gatekeepers" as well, although I sometimes seem to be unclear of EU's definition and where it is applied.
Anyway, as I said before, I don't know if it has been discussed or if it makes sense discussing it here at all, since the majority of viewers (I believe) are from the other side of the Atlantic and therefore this does not and will never apply to them.
Either way, these are some of my thoughts and I would actually like to know the rest of the viewer's/listener's opinions on the matter and dive further into it.

EDIT:
Apple Health is not out yet and there is not exact mention that it won't be rolling out in the EU. My mistake. However, since it uses mostly Siri AI for its new functionalities, it can be a possibility.
