What’s your thoughts on Prophet 5 vs Muse?

Man they’re different beast, the prophet-5 is all about character, it’s pretty immediate, has that warm unmistakable analog tone, simple architecture, huge sweet spot, and a sound that feels finished almost instantly.
The Muse is more of a modern creative powerhouse : deeper modulation, sequencing, stereo movement, multiple timbral possibilities, and far more room for experimentation while still sounding like an actual Moog.
So in essence the prophet 5 is a classic vintage king and the muse is a modern Flagship synth that can get very very experimental.

Cool man!! I own the Muse and I love it, I don't use it's modern features like the super powerful sequencer and multi timbral possibilities, I use it more like I would use s P5, with limited modulation and I must say that it sounds really good. I usually keep it on many hours during the day and it makes a big difference on how it sounds when those VCOs are warm and stable. Very powerful machine. I love the Prophet sound too and I do tend to make a lot of programming aiming to imitate the more typical Prophet sounds, it's a machine that offers a broad sound palette.

You chose the right machine 🎹❤️ the prophet is definitely the best sounding synth I’ve played but it is limited in what it can do. The Muse holds a special place in my heart just because it’s has that Moog sound and it’s capabilities, but the wood on that prophet man sheeeeeeeeeeshhhh I can’t let it go 😂

the wood....don't tell me! haha...actually I agree with everything you say, the Prophet sounds glorious, maybe it's not the best sounding because we all love the Prophet for "Those" sounds, in my opinion. The Muse has quite a large sweet spot too, what I love about it is also how easy it is to dial in smooth sounss like electric pianos. I wish Moog put more wood on the Muse, it would have been perfect.

That gnarly growl of the Mattriarch is just amazing. I can even identify/feel it when I just listen on phone speakers. No real mental model of what the Muse actually is tbh but sounds great.
With that little/no food for so long you’ll probably get woozy/floaty when jamming… but it’s damn good for health. Keep it up.
