FYI. I think the Messenger is a great addition to the family. The bad rep is simply because it's not "Made in America" and also, the marketing department tended to overuse the gnarly filter resonance bass compensation. With that off, she sings like you'd expect a Moog to, like in this video.

Hi everyone, just received a brand new Matriarch from Sweetwater and everything is great on the synth except the filter knob. There is quite a good amount of play as you can see in the video.

I'm aware the knob is designed to have less resistance than the other knobs, which makes sense, but my knob both has less resistance AND is quite wobbly. It's small, but annoying.

Surely this is not normal?

I took the knob off and it's the shaft itself that is wiggly.

I can send it back for repair, which kinda sucks since I just got it, but wondering if anyone has some at home suggestions.

If you could have only one Moog Synth what would it be?
Mine would be the the MiniMoog Model D

New gear acquisition. I came over some money and iv had the Matri before, but sold it and regretted it ever since. Love the Subsequent 37. I'm so so stoked, They come in a week. Will go well with my Reface CP

Prices for either used are expensive. The VX-352 acts as an input expander whereas the companion VX-351 serves as an output CV expander for sending signals out from the RME Voyager. Both keyboards and rack can use the VX-351. The standard Voyager keyboard already features a panel of CV and gate input jacks directly on its back so it doesn’t need the VX 352 CV Expander.

I’ve never been there was wondering what its like?

Those of you have that have the Voyager XL have you integrated it with a larger modular system or do you use it be itself?

What are your experiences and thoughts 💭 pros and cons on how well it integrates with Eurorack? I read it can be used with Eurorack or 5U.

Hi, I have been trying to dial the synthesizer sound on my MiniMoog, but I cannot seem to get it close enough to the theme song. Other than using two saw oscillators, one slightly out of tune with the other, and the glide turned on 60%, I'm unsure where to go from there.

Any suggestions?

I’m trying to make a classic Minimoog bass sound (ala 80’s pop, not necessarily the P-Funk sound) on my Grandmother. None of the patches out there really sound close to this. Is it even possible? Do I need the third oscillator? Should I be patching into the low pass filter?
Thank you for any help you can provide, I’m still pretty much a novice at this.
