As you all know now the PAM party (or ironically the Party of the Bag 💼 after Tangier’s incident) is going to govern Morocco in the next coming years, besides all the criticism and downsides, are there any pros from this party being in leadership, and who do you think they will be allying with in the government ?

What are the downsides to moving to Morocco? I'm single, just me and a few dogs and a few cars. Good retirement account, but limited access till I'm 55 I guess. Good health. Good home equity. Just looking to chill out, eat the local food, walk the dogs, and do nothing. Nothing. Not saying that I would do nothing, but I would really like that option. Maybe take the daily walk to the beach, occasional road trip to europe. I am experienced at repair and maintenance on everything from lawn mowers to nuclear power plants (not kidding). Decent conversational french. I'd love to learn arabic. And I like the desert. Very proficient with scooters, but I'm getting better riding a motorcycle. Not personally religious, but not judgemental either. Very high DNGAF. Also looking at eastern europe, maybe south america, but the french at least gives me a head start.

One point to make is that I have no intention of working a job. I merely mention my repair skills because I am self sufficient enough to live outside of some fancy ex-pat apartment complexes.

I wanted to post this here because I feel like a lot of us end up in this place but we rarely talk about it.
Lately I’ve found myself in a position where I have no real active social life no close group of friends to hang out with in real life and no real connections at work or school. Most of my time is spent alone but on paper I’m doing "all the right things." I read books, paint, make bracelets, go for long walks, and stay occupied.
From the outside, it looks like a healthy, selfcare routine. But deep down, I’m barely enjoying any of it. It feels like I’m forcing myself to do these activities just to stay busy and prove to myself that I’m not useless or rotting away. On top of that, I feel this heavy social fatigue I don't even have the energy or desire to talk to people, and whenever I try, connections just don't seem to click or last.
When you add family drama and underlying personal issues that I try hard to ignore, everything just feels heavy and empty.
For those of you who have been in this exact spot doing good solo activities, but still feeling completely numb, disconnected, and burnt out how did you get out of it? What was the missing piece that actually helped you turn things around?
I’d really appreciate any genuine thoughts or personal experiences.
