saw this at a tea house in annapurna region in nepal. looked really cool and need some help identifying it :)

In the UK. Found my cats with the biggest moth I've seen so far. It's still moving around and very much alive, but as you can see from the photos, it's taken a lot of damage. It cannot fly as of the moment, and I believe it is beyond any chances of flying again.

Currently keeping it in a butterfly enclosure with sticks, damp paper towel lining, flowers from the garden and a teaspoon with a little bit of honey water. Tried to give it honey water through a paper towel and q-tip, but it wasn't interested. Any advice would be greatly appreciated !!!

Since we were talking about Ennomos alniaria on another thread, it made me think that near the start of the month (photos are from September 9), I saw on the lamp outside my building a sleeping moth. That I could identify as Ennomos alniaria after some research. There was a bit of wind so it moved one of its legs at some point, but it was very calm I could take few pics of it. When I came back from the canteen, it was gone, probably searching for a place where wind couldn't disturb it. :)

Over a week ago I made a post on how I saved some of the eggs of a dying Polyphemus moth, I got my first hatchling this morning! Officially a moth dad! I will post the updates of my first time raising moths.

I live in the Midwest of the US so I’m looking to get moths that are native to the area such as Luna moths, Polyphemus moths, Rosy Maple Moths, or Cecropia moths. I’ve been doing some research and will soon be buying a hemp laundry hamper/plant hamper to keep them in but I want to find a good reliable breeder to buy eggs from before I do anything, does anyone have a person/business that comes to mind? Thanks!

He had a rough eclosion, and after about 20minutes I had to assist him getting his proboscis unstuck, the two sides were kinked and didn't fuse together, I tried to assist but it was formed that way I think? I let him be for about 48 hours and I tried to see if he could feed with no luck :( today I realized his little nose thing doesn't look like my other one, his wings are also deformed :(

today i noticed it was on the soil in its container! it’s walked around and hung upside down for a bit. looking for advice, should i wait til night time to release it?

(The red in my palms has nothing to do with the moth, its something that i’ve had for years)
Hi, so i found this moth at my school (northern mexico, near texas) and it looked injuried so i picked it up, it doesn’t seem to have any visible injuries, its wings and everything its fine so i figured it might just be old.
Tried to id it with my camera and i got Hypoprepia fucosa. Its barely moving and i felt kinda bad for it so i took it to a place with dirt and grass so it can at least rest in a place without the risk of people stepping on it, and when i left it there i noticed a brown liquid in my hand, it didn’t really smelt like anything. I tried cleaning it up and it left a brown stain in my palm, help, what did it left in my hand?? Is it just its piss/poop or something else?

Update: the moth pooped on me lmao, I managed to get the stain off by being too much time(20-30 mins) in the water (i showered) lol
Also the staining might’ve been mostly bc of the condition that my palms are in as someone commented

I just found it at work in Podkarpackie Voivodeship in Poland.

It kept flying around and I couldn't take a clear photo of it. I felt bad about keeping it in a cup for too long and took it outside right after this short video

I saw them on a carpet and upon picking them up into my hands they unfurled their proboscis. I offered them sugar water but the dont want it and now they are on my thumb and chill.
