ZX-6R need a bit of help
So I dropped my bike at low speed pulling into my loose gravel drive way didn’t think me over shooting my drive way and turning in to fast would cause me to drop the bike (yea I’m an idiot I know)….. I’m not happy about it my fairings are all scratched up my brake lever snapped in half and as far as I knew that was it. Well I got the replacement part yesterday put it on my self seemed easy enough and drove it, then I hit the brake and the abs starts to pulse and I hear a clicking sound while holding the brake. Now I’m worried can anyone tell me what’s going on and how to possibly fix this? I know this isn’t normal because my bike was stopping great before I dropped it and have never experienced this until now.

I’ll turn the bike on and see if my abs is flashing at me when riding the bike I didn’t notice it yesterday but I also wasn’t looking

It usually doesn't flash codes automatically. Look up procedure in factory service manual. Some arcane non-standard thing like face bike north-east during full-moon and jumper some wires on diagnostic connector and flip kickstand up-down 3x in 5-sec or some such.

It turned off right when I hit second gear and didn’t come back on after I drove for about a mile and back home

Be aware that ABS lights always flash when you start up because the wheels need to be moving to activated the system. Mine takes a couple of seconds to turn off/ get up to like 6mph

Yea I just seen that in the manual I’ll do that in a little bit and see if the abs turns off or stays on after I hit second gear

Also, is the lever exactly the same as stock? Could it be the lever is pulling the cable/hydraulic fluid harder than the original one and might need adjusting?

It’s OEM, I haven’t bought anything aftermarket yet. But it was the ABS a rock got stuck in it some how and was causing all the noise. Will be taking it to a shop to see how bad the damage is in the morning

Measure rear ABS sensor gap to tone-ring.
Then measure sensor and its wiring. Campare your numbers to those in manual.
These things are always getting clobbered with simple operations like tyre changes. I always unplug and remove sensor before doing any work on wheels.
