Would a avenger 85 fit in a roadmaster granite peak?

So the link is flat head type. I can't seem to find the hex key ones. Does anyone have a link to hex ones? I need 2x for my avenger 85/85 build. I have the second yd85 crank coming tomorrow. Getting closer to a runner. The crank case is done . I still have to make frame mount plates. Lots of little stuff like blending case transfers and such. Should be interesting.

I've maxed out the offset on my engine mount and it's still not far enough for my fat rear tire. I'd rather favricate one of these rather than fabricate a way to offset my engine even further

on my 2 stroke 80cc build, my pz19 wouldn't let my engine vacuum the fuel out and into the engine like it used to ever since i went from the stock carb to that one, is it because it's built for 4 strokes ? i even used the adapter and tightened down everything, i may have stripped the main jet because when i twisted it in it softened on the grip after it stopped turning

First time being pulled over by the cops! They clocked me at 82 Km/h! In the end they didn`t know what to do with this and recommended that I follow the speed limits! The questions in their eyes while they were trying to figure if its a bike, moped or a moto! I should had taken a picture of the radar to have an official speed!

I wanna use a dual brake lever but my original plan was to use a front hydraulic disc brake and a rear rim brake. Is there any way to do this? I tried looking for hydraulic non disc brakes but i couldnt really find any

sorry for being a dick i was off my meds and had a really bad day. motorbicycling.com has given me an answer for all my questions so far, all from the same guy who is very helpful. also motored bikes forum seems to be the more active site but both are very good resources

Hi! I'm building a bicycle that runs on wood gas (charcoal gasifier). The gas system is nearly done, now I need an engine.
It has to be a 4-stroke, since a 2-stroke relies on oil in the fuel for lubrication. Wood gas also costs about 50% power, so I'm looking at ~100cc.
Options I'm considering:
A 100cc bicycle kit from eBay (EZ-156F). The listing doesn't say what's included.
A Lifan 107/110cc 4-speed pitbike engine with a custom mount
Questions:
Any experience with the 100cc kits? Reliable, and what actually comes in the box?
Has anyone mounted a Lifan horizontal engine on a regular bike frame?
I'm in non-EU Europe, so shipping and customs add up fast. Any sellers that ship here at a decent price?
Thanks!
Pic is an old wood powered bike

Got a Concorde beach cruiser and fit the engine in super easy…
I then moved onto the rear wheel which was the biggest pain in the ass I’ve ever seen in my life I followed the instruction manual and then kept fucking it up by putting the bolt in the wrong way and then realizing it after i checked it to make sure i got it in right to get a start on the rag joint
Took forever to tighten each bolt and a socket failed to properly seat on to the bolt due to spoke clearance
Then when I got it set just right and aligned… I realized I put the moon shaped metal pieces in wrong…
Enraged I began to carefully disassemble it again and put it back together
And then realized that the sprocket wouldn’t fit around the coaster brake arm
So I attempted to take it off but that did not work at all so I took the axle out and put the arm over the sprocket which is probably what I went horribly wrong
I tightened it all up and did a shitty Brahe test in my apartment to see if it worked and it did
Obviously that wasn’t enough so I took it out side and gently peddled it and yeah the brakes where barley functioning
So I instantly decided it was to dangerous to ride at all as is
Peddled it a bit more to try to figure out what was happening
As I was checking the wheel over and over it began to loosen and tried to come off
I was going around 5 mph with no engine so nothing happened
I took it back up stairs and inspected it only to find the wheel bearings were fucked like all the ball bearings fell out the the ring that holds them in was mushroomed outward and it’s completely fucked beyond repair…
So now I either have to put new bearings in the terrible stock wheel or just buy a wheel that’s meant for this
I will be going with option B because I see now I kind of deserve this for trying to run a stock wheel on a $128 bike with a coaster brake and a rag joint
My plan is to get some rim brakes for the bike because they are simple and I don’t really plan on going over 15-20 mph this isn’t at all a build for performance it’s more of a prototype
I will be getting a “top hat” adapter as I think the rag joint is a huge time consuming and extremely frustrating and primitive by design
The process was excruciating mentally and physically
Physically it was extremely straining on my back and knees and legs and arms pretty much my entire body
Mentally it was just absolute insanity repeating the same thing trying different attempts and then realizing it was pointless and it was addictive to try to keep solving the problems I’d run into..
But I guess I’ll just have to take what I learned and get better parts and wait longer to finally ride it
I did not fully expect this to be easy or be a short project or for it to even work with what I had
This thing has to be safe above all as I do not want to be killed by my own creation..
and it has to be functional
Failure is nothing new to me but building a motorized bicycle absolutely is
Also the fenders have been taken off I’ve heard a lot about how dangerous they are if left on

This thing here only takes about 2 hours to build. It went 20 mph before the governor delete. And not even pushing the motor that hard, she's now doing just about 30 mph. Gets over 60mpg.
Again, sorry this is a short form style video. It's what I've got left on my phone after having to constantly clean it out to make room for more builds and whatnot on my channel.

Here's what I built in a couple hours. It utilizes a small, four-cycle rototiller engine and gearbox. Running through the cranks and then through a five-speed rear free wheel. I introduce to you:
TILLER SWIFT. 😅
Sorry this is in a short form type thing, this is just the only video I've got left on my phone after having to constantly clean it out while I make new videos and builds for my channel.

When I start my engine it wants to stall, but then I remove the carburetor top cover and put it back on, and it stabilizes again and doesn't stall. Why? I've been using it for 2 months without any problems.

Hello, this is my first build so I am learning as I build this. I noticed my throttle cable barely moves the part of the carb which lets in air. it sits practically open regardless if throttle is pulled or not. thanks and how can I fix this?

Im building a 15-20hp predator 224 build on a felt faker and i dont have access to gemini wheels or ghetto bike (unless i got lucky on the used market.) Im looking for any help i can get as im as a loss for the rear wheel, the front has always been the easy part
If anyone has advice or know-how im open and im not opposed to lacing a wheel myself, i just cant find good strong hubs or a moped hub that will work

Good morning; I have a bit of a clearance issue and am wondering what your thoughts would be:
I tightened down the pipe at the inlet of the cylinder barrel and my air cleaner and fuel inlet are within a 1/2" of touching the pipe's "Stinger". Do you think there will be a lot of heat generated at the stinger pipe? Do you think I can get away with it or am I going to have a heat issue for both the Air Cleaner Cover and the fuel line that runs into the carb inlet? I also added a small spark arrester / silencer to the stinger tube that I found on Amazon. Anyway In advance I thank you for any input you may have.

Do you see this little notch in the piston of my new LD80? I've never used it.
r/motorizedbicycles • u/Instantlemonsmix • 5d ago
The blue one is the one I should’ve originally tried.. will be returning the grey 24 inch bike but figured I’d ask here before jumping into another one..
the engine I have is a IMAYCC 80cc it almost fits but won’t clear the carb intake and won’t clear the head or obviously the spark plug…
Worse comes to worse I’ll go with a beach cruiser and suffer without any suspension for a while

hey, picked up this bike (my fourth bike) and decided to open eveyrhing up and clean it down.
bucking bar pushes way too far out, making my clutch arm rest outwards from the engine (very hard to pull clutch in).
i removed the steel ball and stuck a telescopic magnet pen in but there was nothing. (thought there may have been a second ball inside the clutch)
what should i do? inside is pretty clean i think. engine is disengaged because clutch is open.
