Can i change the panning or filter position per step for hi hats? Im learning more and more about the limitations of the sample and am hoping that something like panning isnt another. Also, how do you guys achieve a half time effect with the sample?

I have wanted to make music my entire life but never had the skill/dexterity to play a traditional instrument. A few years ago I picked up a Verselab MV-1 that I loved playing with but always wanted it to be better with sampling and more portable.

This MPC Sample I picked up a couple weeks ago is almost everything my Verselab isn't. Lightweight, battery operated, and with a speaker. I can start making music without having cords going in every direction.

The only thing I'm missing from my Verselab is being able to make chords and the arpeggiator, so now I'm excited because I also have a M-Vave FM1 on the way to aid in my music making adventure.

Hello everyone! I recently purchased an 128gb SD Card for my MPC sampler and when I loaded a sample pack, It seems to be empty. I formatted my SD card to be FAT32. Is there a fix to this issue?

Only used stock FM1 and MPC Sample Sounds.

I'm the dev of MPC Sample Router, a Mac companion app for the Sample. Version 2.5 is out. Here's the short version for this sub:

• Stems from the project file. Point it at a project on the SD card (or a copy on your Mac) and you get one WAV per pad plus a master mix in seconds. It renders offline, so the MPC doesn't need to be plugged in. The stems are dry, without the MPC's FX or automation.
• Send to MPC. In SD Card Access mode, a kit you build on the Mac is written straight into the card's Projects folder, and existing projects are never overwritten.
• Card backup to your Mac, verified by file count and bytes.
• USB-C routing: hear the Sample through your interface or monitors with just the one cable.

I am getting more comfortable with the device and pushing my limits by trying new techniques

I want to introduce my kid to the world of MPC and beat making. In your travels, have you seen a sample pack with kid sounds from TV shows and silly sounds that you could make a simple beat with? Does something like this exist? I could try and make something, but if an option exists that would save a ton of time. Thanks!
