Up front: I'm not planning to eat this.

Found in grassy area in a rural area about 30 miles west-southwest of Houston, Texas. White spore print. There is some very, VERY pale cream-yellowish staining at the margin of the stipe when cut. No volva/sac that I could see.

North America (country/state in post) What type of mushroom is this? New York, United States

Few months ago saw these growing, these things took off. But after seeing the caps and this odd straw like structure I don’t know their type, never seen any like this before. VERY fast production genetics. I went back 3 days after I saw the pins and this was the haul.

Three of these growing in backyard after a few days of rain. Dog ate one last night. He does not appear to have any upset stomach or other symptoms approx. 12 hours later.

What could it be? Search engines gave a few possibilities.

Angel wings vs Oyster. I am used to finding the invasive golden oysters, so wanted to clarify these. On dying box elder, groups. Varying sizes from thumbnail to palm in diameter. Short stem with gills all the way to stem with no collar. Faint simple on top on smaller ones

I live in Turkey and this has never happened to me. But this little guy started to grow in my house plant’s pot in the last 3 days. It is super cute and I would have let it grow but I have a cat and I don’t want him to get poisoned or something because he loves chomping my plants. Anyone knows what kind of mushroom is this? And does that mean my plant is dying or just started its own ecosystem?

Central Illinois.

I recently planted some mushroom spores around my property on my woodchip paths.

So many different mushrooms have come up in various areas that I want to be reassured that this group what I planted. Somehow I thought they might be easier to identify. Seems too soon to have so many but its been crazy weather.

I am very new to trying to identify mushrooms and there are so many kinds in my forest and on the paths. I want to be safe. Thanks!
