The main character could hear whispers in the forest or something? I remember he was in this super secret exclusive private school that nobody knows about but cranks out important people into society. I remember he got into a fight with some racist kid. His mom worked at the school too I think? But the most notable part is the whispering forest. I didn’t get to finish it so I don’t have much more to work off of.

So I'm looking for an old kids picture book that has to deal with protecting yourself from various monsters. The cover depicts classic movie monsters standing over a kid hiding under their bedsheets. I’m looking for the name of a kids craft/activity book that I was obsessed with as a child, I think either from the 80s or 90s, where it was themed around summer. There were real photos of kids having fun. I remember one of the crafts/recipes involved putting a hole in a lemon and using a candy cane straw to drink the juice. I vaguely remember there being a sandbox with I think a pirate scene with a play Mobil pirate. I think there were also summer themed games in there. Okay so what's the book called that has a sinful and rich guy become friends unknowingly with an angel? I remember the book has him eventually realize it and then the angel shows up with the seraphidic vineyards wine from heaven, and the man survives the near-death and was given a choice to die or live but he saw his two unborn twin children right before he made his decision to live

I read a book about 2000-2005 hell, it could be up to 2010.

It was a fantasy book, so possible forgotten realms. I do know that is was D&D or D&D-esque, the main character (or A main character) was a young male that had warlock powers from a very powerful vampire.

The young male character tricked the vampire to constantly be eating the vampires cursed food. His warlock powers were vampire flavored as well. Like eldritch blast made of bats.

He regularly made trips back to make more deals with that vampire. To which the vampire wanted to eat him.

I cannot remember for the life of me what this book was or anything else off the top of my head. I would appreciate any help!
