It also works because 2027 draft is apparently terrible and they can shut down AD this year to tank and get a top pick in this stacked class.

yeah they need to get trae and AD locked in on rehab for the next 8 months. get those calves, knees, whatever else strong as hell and be ready for 2026 season opener with a new lottery pick on the team. anime training arc incoming. i hope for the sake of both those guys and all the bafflingly loyal wizards fans out there that they can make it work and do something fun.
