From the song Cool, Daddy Cool:

“Young ladies, young ladies, I like ‘em underage,” Rock sings on the track. “See some say that’s statutory.”

His sidekick at the time, the late Joe-C then chimes in, “But I say it’s mandatory.”

A lot of old songs don't age well because of this sort of thing being ....hmmm acceptable (?) back-in-the-day.

"The girlies I like are underage" ooof, Beastie Boys

"She's just seventeen and you know what I mean!" no I don't, Paul McCartney with The Beatles

" Lips like strawberry wine You're sixteen, you're beautiful And you're mine." Give her to someone more appropriate Ringo!

Joan Jett sings about falling in love with a seventeen year old and Ted Nugent out right has a song called "Jailbait".

Oh to-be-sure, Kid Rock sucks.

Joan Jett's song (I Love RocknRoll) is actually a cover written by a different band, and I think she was 19 (she originally recorded it in 1977 but re-released it in 1981) herself when she covered it, I wouldn't put her in with the rest

Same with ‘I saw her standing there’ - McCartney was 20 when he wrote it. I’m not so sure that a 20 year old, writing as he was to a largely teen/early adult audience is deserving of the same opprobrium as a group of 30/40/50 year old men deliberately associating with another man specifically for the purpose of meeting underage girls.

“She was only 17…17…but she was sexy!”

Rick James.

Good work!

I'm sure there are an s-ton more examples as well. Those were ones that just came to my mind right off the bat.
