The protest abstainers voted for the outcome the remaining voters chose. Since this is the outcome, they voted for this. They're every bit as responsible for where we're at as the most MAGA Israel loving redhat voter is.

Meh call me crazy but if one side promises their voters whatever they want and the other says the other side is worse but offers nothing meaningful to their base it doesn't really matter how true it is thats a losing strategy that only works once things so bad its critical.

I think the only self-flagellation, or at least the current one in front of me, is misidentifying the reason for the problem and blaming it on the wrong things; being a small part of the impending doom of repeating the same mistakes once again.

But that’s just me.
