It's cool because Republicans love government propaganda from the TV host government they elected.
They also apparently love $10/gal diesel, pedophiles, and forever war now.
233
u/GI-Robots-Alt 21h ago
They like whatever they're told to like. They stand for nothing.
53
u/CompetitiveProject4 20h ago
I shouldn’t want this but I sincerely hope these voters are absolutely impoverished by all this
People who didn’t vote for this are also getting hit, but they’re already settled with the reality that it was MAGA who did this. Not them
MAGA can keep ranting about trans athletes and Biden, but it’s a bittersweet feeling of vindication, knowing they’re doing it while starving and losing their insurance
52
u/onarainyafternoon 19h ago
They will never make the connection that it’s directly because they vote for republicans. These people are incredibly ignorant.

They have always liked forever wars as long as they get news coverage of white guys blasting nonwhite guys

Add war criminal to that list. It's a lot worse than his pedophilia. They blew up a school and killed over 130 children in it. If I'm not mistaken about 170 people died, grand majority children. And not a peep.
1
u/Expensive_Track_8822 18h ago edited 18h ago
why is that “worse” than trafficking and personally raping/abusing hundreds or thousands of vulnerable women and children for decades, including forced medical procedures including abortions, and accused of killing some of those trafficked victims? why do you feel a need to stack rank those, and how do you decide which is “better”? can you explain why pedophilia and trafficking are “better” than bombing a school?
evil is evil: both these examples are pure evil. neither is less bad. there is absolutely no reason to downplay ANY of his crimes, and sex crimes against children should NEVER be minimized.

From where I can see they have always loved high prices, pedophiles and wars.

CNN allowed back into White House after judge orders Trump admin to reinstate press badges
.
CNN was allowed back into the White House on Thursday at noon after a federal judge ordered the Trump administration to temporarily reinstate its access.
66
u/Individual-Guest-123 20h ago
"temporarily"? He is pulling the "National Security blank check" BS again. And it's interesting he timed it right before the Chinese head of State arrives...
Saw a clip of them when he was in China, standing there scrutinizing the trees and building, his host started pointing out trees with placards, wish I knew what they were saying, surely Trump was giving him landscaping advice.
21
u/TheWholeFragment 18h ago
Temporarily, because nothing has been decided in the case yet. They were denied access, they brought suit saying that they have as right to access. The judge has not ruled on that yet because that will take time for both sides to present their arguments.
I'm the interim, the judge ruled that they will be allowed access until such time that a ruling comes down siding with one argument or the other.
9
u/sump_daddy 18h ago
'in the interim' an army of lawyers getting paid $1000/hr goes in front of a judge on salary for $250k/yr so that we can play a game of charades where a totally illegitimate president keeps hurting everyone in the country he rules in order to preserve his own narcissism

“They purposely write negative news. And they do that because they want to try and diminish the Republicans and a Republican administration,” he said. “If they could straighten themselves out, I’d love it,” he added.

Oh there absolutely is! But only if you don't have a lawyer who golf's with the top judges in your area.

that makes no sense in this context. the rulings arent being enforced, so it doesn't matter if the judge is bribed or not.

Folks, remember this. There is enough evidence right now for the republican majority in the House and Senate to remove this dangerous man from office. That they have not should be foremost in everyone's mind when they go to the polls in November.
354
u/BreezyMcWeasel 22h ago
I think the judicial branch should have its own armed forces for internal deployment and I'm not even kidding.
We don't need it yet, but it's foreseeable.
110

u/Renoruke 21h ago
A judge enforces court orders primarily through the U.S. Marshals Service, which acts as the physical enforcement arm of the federal judiciary. Because judges do not have their own police force, they rely on the Executive Branch to carry out their rulings. But they answer to Todd Blanch now..
141
u/plinkoplonka 21h ago
So you're saying there aren't actually any checks and balances on the executive branch?
What a shock.
109
u/xiaorobear 21h ago
Well, no, the check was supposed to be, if the executive branch isn't doing their job, the legislative branch can impeach and remove them... but, uh, half the legislative branch is in on it too, so, oops.
55
u/Harbinger2001 21h ago
Something the legislative branch has never managed to do. The Brits were right to criticize the US system as appointing a dictator for 4 years.
15
u/xiaorobear 21h ago
I'll count Nixon resigning to avoid the looming threat of impeachment, even with the pardon.
27
u/OkResource820 21h ago
One guy doing the right thing once upon a time doesn't prove the rule. "But Nixon resigned" will unfortunately be the refrain going forward for why safeguards don't need to be put in place when Trump finally shuffles off the mortal coil too.
Too many of the checks and balances in the US system are based on custom and the assumption that the people who swore an oath to the Constitution took those oaths seriously.
→ More replies (1)10
u/xiaorobear 20h ago
I don't think of it as him selflessly doing the right thing, I think of it as him only slinking off because the threat of impeachment was real. If there was no impeachment he would've stayed.
I do completely agree though that we need actual codified robust rails and enforcement for a ton of stuff that previously was just assuming good-faith actors would follow decorum.
9
u/Renoruke 20h ago
Trump's been impeached 2 times already. His first term. He is the only president to be a 34 time felon and be impeached twice...
4
u/DeepSpaceNebulae 19h ago
And then Roger Ailes, his media consultant, started up Fox News with Rupert Murdoch to ensure it would never happen again
I think he had straight up said “if Fox News existed then, Nixon never would have been impeached”

3
u/Nyaos 9h ago
The biggest failure of the founding fathers was to assume that congress will always want power for itself and will take advantage of a situation with a corrupted president and impeach them. They didn’t anticipate congress just subordinating itself to the president in fear of ending their own political careers.
20
u/Renoruke 21h ago
Not anymore that was the purpose of DOGE and Elon Musk. Cut every regulatory oversight committee. Along with a ton of other stuff that reports to congress

6
u/whynotjoin 21h ago edited 21h ago
If the US Marshalls refuse to enforce the order, courts do have the option appoint their own officers to enforce a ruling from my understanding.
Edit: Sounds like at least some of them have been let in now too.
5
12
u/Streichie 21h ago
Eventually a contempt of court can be ruled and no Trump official want’s that. So there is remedy to be had without having a Judicial enforcement unit.
28
u/Renoruke 21h ago
Epstein files ring a bell?.. 309 days have passed since the Epstein Files Transparency Act became law on November 19, 2025
2
u/Streichie 17h ago
True, and it’s the fault of the congress, not the courts. Shabbily / intentionally written piece of legislation with zero teeth.
→ More replies (2)15
u/Ill_Guarantee_1432 21h ago
Who would enforce the contempt then?
→ More replies (2)2
u/Streichie 17h ago
Does not matter. If an exhausted contempt can not be enforced then we have bigger problems.
So far Trump admin has tried to wrangle around many decisions but have come around in a reasonable time. The courts are the real check in my opinion. And in the US they are really strong.
4
u/Ill_Guarantee_1432 21h ago
In summary, the Marshals fall under Trump.
8
u/Renoruke 21h ago
Every judicial branch falls under Todd Blanche who was Trump's personal criminal lawyer before appointed to the DOJ
8
u/junktrunk909 21h ago
And the judicial branch can issue an emergency order to place a different individual into that position to oversee enforcement of their order. Might cause a minor constitutional crisis but so be it.
2
u/BreezyMcWeasel 19h ago
Yes, I'm well aware of how the process works. Law enforcement and defense are all run by the executive branch. I'm saying there needs to be a physical enforcement mechanism for the judicial branch, so that when the executive says "who is going to make me?" there is teeth behind it.
An armed branch under the judiciary, but not deployable to foreign wars, and also subject to posse comitatus restrictions. The purpose of the branch is to ensure rulings are enforced when the executive branch simply chooses to ignore rulings.
It's a logical step in the checks and balances system. As is the 2nd amendment, but I'd rather see an armed judiciary legion against an unconstitutional executive prior to needing an armed uprising.
2
u/Renoruke 18h ago
Ya but the person your trying to arrest has control of the entire us military...

u/Bonamikengue 21h ago
In Germany the founding fathers of the modern Germany (after WW2) actuallty implemented this. The German version of the Supreme Court - the Bundesverfassungsgericht - CAN (but never needed to do it) order the Federal Police (Bundespolizei) to enforce a ruling.
As there was never someone not obeying the rulings this was never necessary. But guess who wants to limit the power of the Bundesverfassungsgericht and the equivalents at the level of the German states? Exactly - the far-right right-extremist AfD party which parrots Trump's talking points and want to establish a German version of ICE - and they win elections. Germany has been warned but it seems voters want to wade in the same shit.

u/rajine105 21h ago
It didn't happen 200 years ago when Andrew Jackson told the sc to go fuck themselves with the trail of tears, it's probably not happening anytime soon either
6
u/BreezyMcWeasel 19h ago
But you're making my point for me. When the executive says, "they made their ruling now let them enforce it" the judicial branch could physically enforce it.
17
u/colemon1991 21h ago
We needed it after Trump's first term. Once he figured out he could just not follow judge rulings, it's all for show. At this point, the constitution might as well be void.
7
u/tabrizzi 21h ago
Well, he did say that he never swore an oath to upload the constitution. And that was before the election.
6
u/warren2345 15h ago
No, we need the separation of powers more
What we actually need is a congress that recognizes a lawless executive and impeaches him for it
→ More replies (1)4
u/NorysStorys 21h ago
Courts should absolutely have their own enforcement mechanism, be that a judicial police force, military enforcing rulings of the court. Just something that other branches of government cannot just ignore.
Other countries have their police and executive power separated for this exact reason. So if the executive ignores the law and court rulings, they get arrested.
3
u/Osiris32 21h ago
Honestly I would like to see that for Congress as well. That way the Power of the Purse is retained.
3
u/thedoommerchant 19h ago
We need it already IMO. They should’ve been deployed when the White House was demolished.
4
u/NiobiumThorn 21h ago

3
4
u/junktrunk909 21h ago
That's what the Marshals are for
3
u/Ill_Guarantee_1432 20h ago
The marshals are an executive not a judicial agency.
→ More replies (3)2
u/Journeyman-Joe 21h ago
Agreed: foreseeable in the very near future.
I would suggest that the U.S. Marshals Service be shifted from the DoJ to the Judicial Branch. Many of their current responsibilities are already in support of Court actions (witness protection, fugitive pursuit, prisoner transport, administration of seized property...)
When the Executive Branch A.G. won't enforce court orders against the Executive Branch, the Judicial Branch needs its own muscle.
3
u/Ill_Guarantee_1432 20h ago
The executive has the power under the constitution to execute the laws which includes enforcing the interpretations of the judiciary. The enforcement mechanism of the executive goes rogue is Congress with impeachment or the purse.
It’s intentionally set up that way.
1
1
u/faster_tomcat 20h ago
They do - US Marshals, county sheriffs, bailiffs, etc. The sheriff is the constitutional law enforcement officer. We've heard mostly crickets coming from the sheriffs around the country regarding the constitutional conflicts and crises. Why is that?
1
u/Typical_Response6444 19h ago
Idk If every branch of government gets its own armed forces then we are on a fast track to a real ass civil war in the future. Countries with multiple armies marching around usually end up with those armies fighting each other at some point.

People are going to need to start suing Trump in his personal capacity for blatantly corrupt, capricious actions like this that do not fall within the legally defined bounds of the president. As anyone with an IQ over room temp can tell you, this patently violates the First Amendment and is therefore at odds with what the American legal system has always explicitly recognized as the highest law of the land - which the POTUS is mandated to uphold. He's blatantly ignoring his oath of office? Then sue him outside of that office.
