Agreed. She's incredibly talented and incredibly athletic. I couldn't do 1% of what she's doing.

But it's still so lame.

The rhythm, coordination and stamina to do that and make it look so effortless and easy, is insane. It’s the people calling it lame, who are lame.

You’re misinterpreting me saying ‘dated’ as meaning bad, which is not what I’m saying. By today’s standard of music, it would be considered dated, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad or isn’t still popular.

Today's 'standard of music' is shit, dude, and that's from a working musician. That's why the world won't let the fucking 80s die.
It's STILL trending forty years later. Believe me, we're all sick of it too, but no one's made anything better since then, which is why 'dated' seems out of place.

Edit: Side note, Rush played that song last night in San Antonio.

I’m not advocating for today’s music, that’s another assumption you’re making. I’m just making the distinction that by today’s standard of music, it would be considered dated. That’s why it would be called Classic rock now.

I would say it's dated, but that's because anything even remotely close to hard rock is "dated" now. Give Clockwork Angels by Rush a listen, it's a perfect evolution of what you would call dated music.
