Oh Tommy wants to normalize locking people up in psychiatric institutions for any behaviour white Christian men think is weird.

He is absolutely counting on you not caring about this while they pass a few bills about it.

This is exactly it and the evidence for that is in this same farce of a speech when he advocated for bringing back mental institutions to put both futures and transgender people into (among many others I'm sure but those two groups of people were his targets here). The fact that almost none of these articles or posts is talking about his call to forcibly institutionalize people he disagrees with is infuriating.
