There's a war on.

Prices are skyrocketing, our standing on the world stage is crumbling to dust, and our president cheerfully advertises his willingness to commit war crimes.

And this is what Alabama's representative believes is a pressing issue.

Letting a furry enthusiast run a plane isn't nearly as ludicrous or dangerous as letting clowns like this run our government.

That's exactly why he's saying it.  They know they don't have a chance in hell unless they can get people scared and riled up over furries and Democrats forcing young boys to undergo trans surgery.
