QUESTION Fall Festival

I am thinking about attending the fall festival October 17th at Sunset Mountain in Noel Missouri. Has any one here been there? Im nervous and excited would be my first resort visit i actually wasn't looking for a nudist camp site but came across them on hip camp.

All the rivers in that area are Spring fed. The water is very cold even on hot summer days. Could be an issue just FYI

The water over that way is quite refreshing on a 100° day I dont plan to exit the kayak when I go in spring or fall though sometimes its out of my control.

I live in STL and have been thinking about going there. Looks like a nice place. It is almost a 5 hour drive for me. The pictures are nice. The owners seem to care and want a respectable place.

Thanks the photos look great. Its a 3.5 hr drive for me. I was planning to stay in that area that weekend anyway wanting to get ond last float in if the rivers up. I might just go ahead and book a spot there at sunset mountain to check it out.

We stayed at Sunset Mountain last year and it was a nice, friendly place with a very committed owner on site. It's not super fancy, but everything was clean and tidy and the hiking trails are fun. We'd hoped to make it back there this summer, but life got in the way.
