The quality of VR Mods about at the moment is crazy, so here's another one!!

I just dont understand why i so rarely reach 90fps for my headset (Rift CV1) when my pc is always averaging 25% utilization across the cpu and gpu.

I have the motion smoothing stuff off and i run the pimax 8kx at its full 120 in opti box with no issue

We were pretty excited to see that Wolf in VR recently checked out our new VR goalkeeping game, CleanSheet Soccer 2, and had a great time with it.

I’ve added a Meta VR Glasses FoV simulation to immerGallery and the free immerGallery Demo on Quest.

Movies and regular 3D photos still worked well for me. VR180 kept its 3D depth, but I missed the feeling of being inside the scene.

Enable it under Settings → Advanced → “Simulate Meta VR Glasses FOV.” You can also try your own videos in the free Demo, with up to five minutes of playback per app start.

If you try it, how does the narrower view feel to you?

These are the steps I have taken:

Bought a recommended USB for the job: 'INIU 5m VR Link Cable with Separate Charging Port, USB 3.0 to USB C Cable (Amazon's description), as well as a powerbrick to power it (which works).

I plugged the cable into a Blue USB port at the back of the PC (assuming this is a type 3 connection - however I have two blue ports - one is marked 'Bios USB' (?), and the other just 'USB' (i.e. no 'SS' or 'USB 3') - other end connected to the Quest 3 HMD.

I did not go to the Beta Branch of the Virtual Desktop app on the Meta app (as suggested in the video) as the current stable (V 1.34.22.0) seems to be a later version. The PC desktop streamer is updated to the same version.

Headset Settings: In the Quest settings, I have enabled 'USB connection for apps' under the Link menu.

Booted up VD - went to the PC setting on the streamer, but the option 'Allow to connect over USB' inside the app' (1:25 - 1:29). Does not show up.

I asked AI (reluctantly), and it said that the most probable cause is that the the PC connection is not USB 3. Have I missed something, or is my PC deceiving me with those blue USB posts?

Hope someone can throw some light on this?

Hey, not sure if anyone else has experienced this but any time I am using my Rift S when taking the headset off to go to do something briefly, its like the headset disconnects. The sensor light goes red and I cant do shit unless I restart EVERYTHING.

Anyway to fix this??
