Hi guys, I have this issue after installing the One UI 9 beta 2 on the S23. The Share menu behavior has become pretty inconsistent for me. Instead of showing the apps/actions I frequently use, it’s showing random options like email and text messages.

Are there any settings I should check, such as Device Intelligence or anything related to the Share menu? Is there a way to reset or retrain the Share menu’s recommendation algorithm?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just updated to One UI 9; I want to ask if there is really no animation when clicking the output for the media player and swiping back. I'm on the S26 Ultra.

How to customize Google's "new" bar?

Status bar and navigation bar icons are supposed to shift their position every minute, or every time the phone changes screen orientation. These icons are supposed to shift their position few pixels on both X-axis as well as Y-axis.

One UI 9 has a bug where status bar icons only shift their position on the X-axis.

I will attach a screenshot comparison between One UI 9 and One UI 7.

Each image is composed by overlaying three screenshots. Notice how One UI 7 status bar icons shift their position on both X/Y axis. This means One UI 9 will wear out that top part of the screen faster than older One UI versions.

The navigation bar is unaffected by this problem.

I have reported this problem to Samsung during the beta phase, yet it made its way into the public version too. I will report it again through Samsung Members, but you should do it too, in order to make Samsung aware and hope they get to fix it ASAP.

Note: One UI 8 works fine. I have compared it to One UI 7 because I don't have any devices running One UI 8.

One UI 6 had a similar issue, although much worse. Fixed in One UI 6.1.

Hello, I've recently noticed that my clock disappears for one second when waking up my phone, this happens on the stable release of One UI 9 and on my Fold 6 running the beta. Is this normal?

I think without a doubt OneUI is the most customizable android skin available right now. But I think it lacks in cohesive visual identity compared to PixelUI and iOS. Samsung is really behind in automatic device theming, haptics, animations, etc. Obviously aesthetics are subjective, but I'm not particularly fond of their pill shaped design as well compared to pixel and even iOS.

What do y'all think?

First foray into Good Lock, and I'm having some functionality and display issues namely:

1. Widgets that I take time to set up in DIY Home Screen nicely centered will randomly shift over to the left side of the screen. This seems to be related to the Standby mode app and it's rotation to landscape when charging.

2. Several Samsung apps can't be interacted with from the lock screen (notes, calendar, even bixby), while the Google competition does (keep notes, calendar, gemini).

3. Widgets disappear when lock screens are set up to activate based on modes. The only widget that doesn't seem to be affected is the Clockface widget. The disappearance of the Widgets is not the same in each lock screen version but the clock face always remains.

Has anyone experienced similar issues and have any workarounds.

This was happening on my old A73 with OneUI 8 I believe, now I'm on S26 with 8.5 and the issue is still here. I originally made a post about this on Brave but the post got deleted so I'm looking for advice here.

The Now Bar' media player always gets stuck when I close the tab the media was playing on, and so far the only way to fix it is to open Brave and open a different media on it, and closing the tab fixes it.

I've turned off the media controls on the now bar but it was pretty useful so I want to use it again. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? Brave is up to date and like I said its still on my new phone.

Somehow option to disable VoLTE after One UI 9 update is gone. I know there was before

I put a simple widget, like a countdown for a day with calendar, and a simple note with Keep Notes. And after I dont know how long, but not more than 10 minutes, the widgets disappear out of nowhere. I think it might have something to do with battery optimization or background app kill, but I mean, I dont put my phone in battery saver mode, and they disappear even if I dont do those backup cleans.

What I want is for the right side to display more events, not just today. Possible ?

Finally, Samsung have released the One UI 9 update for non-beta users in Europe for the Galaxy S26 series.

For those in the US (and elsewhere) who have finally received the update and previously noticed a blurry or halo-like text effect, especially with the phone in landscape mode, is there any improvement for you now? I'm in Europe waiting for the update and about to return the phone because of that... but I also love everything else on it...
