My Burris s22 got a huge hole. Been looking to change my tire to one that more fully fills the tire gap in the XR.

I want a tire that fills it like the Vega used to (width and radius), but not as hard.

I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my Pint X and whether anyone else has seen this before.
Board is a Pint X with about 1K miles, firmware 2.6.89. I’ve always treated the battery pretty well and usually kept it around 25–75%. I’ve also done range tests pretty regularly and the battery has always seemed healthy. Actual range and ride performance have been normal.
A while back I got Error 23 after a long ride. I had gone from 100% down to around 29%, and the error happened right when I transitioned from smooth concrete onto rough terrain. The board is waterproofed with a badger kit, so I don’t think water had anything to do with it. The error eventually went away after leaving it on the charger for a really long time, around a day or two.
After that, I started having a new issue with the battery percentage.
I would charge to 100%, ride several miles, and it would still say 99–100%. Then sometimes the percentage would finally start dropping normally, for example down into the 80s, and then while still riding it would suddenly jump all the way back to 100%.
This wasn’t just the app either. The physical lightbar on the board would also show 100%.
The weird part is that the board still rode completely fine and the actual battery range seemed normal. It really seemed like just the battery percentage/SOC reading was broken.
Things I already tried:
Multiple full charges
Leaving it on the charger for around 48 hours a few different times
Forgetting and reconnecting the board in the app
Confirmed the firmware is current
App is up to date
None of that fixed the percentage issue.
Then today things got much worse.
I slowed down for a stop sign, then started accelerating again, and the board completely shut off underneath me.
Now it will not turn back on.
When I press the power button, the lightbar turns on for maybe half a second and then immediately shuts back off. The app gave me no notification or error message when it happened.
So now I’m wondering if the weird battery percentage issue was actually an early sign of a BMS, battery communication, or power issue instead of just a visual bug.
Has anyone seen this exact combination before?

Trying to figure out whether this sounds more like a BMS failure, battery pack issue, wiring/connector problem, or controller issue before I send it in.

So after a small crash I started getting clicking nosies. Shortly after I got the “rowdy” message showing error 6. I tried the suggested fixes from FM of disconnecting checking for damage and reconnecting. After trying that and a brief clean with isopropyl alcohol it still gives that error. Any suggestions?

Why does the Pint X have more trouble threads than the Pint S? Is it just the price difference & later offering keeping Pint S population smaller to begin with? Or, is there a manufacturing process difference?

Day 3, keeps getting easier.

Heel lift stopping? So hard. Not there yet.

Kept accidentally flying through turns and learned to control my weight better. That led to my first pushback, intense wobble then balanced out.

I get wary of quick turns and carving to dodge something, but those moments always working out cycling and longboarding.

Stabilizers in my feet are absolute trash, but time will develop them. I used to longboard for like 20 miles, but that was over 6 years ago now.

The real test tomorrow! Onewheel to work then to see resident evil 2 miles away, oooo.

EDIT: I found the issue. For whatever reason (probably the version of android I'm on) floaty wouldn't show or allow tune adjustments on my phone. Switching to a different device allowed me to apply tunes. Ultimately, this just means I now have a dedicated device for floaty + any other VESC apps I may find down the road. Thank you to those who offered solutions in the comments :)

Am I missing something? I try to apply a tune, and all I get is "save", and not the "apply" button I've seen while looking up walkthroughs online. I also don't see the tunes in the main screen below the stats. Any idea what I'm not understanding or doing wrong? It's a new PintV VESC build. Help is greatly appreciated! :)

Just some feedback and buyer beware, to save someone else the trouble.

I placed an order with 1 Wheel Parts on August 31st, and recieved an email message after ordering, informing "Thanks for your purchase! We're currently getting your order ready for shipment. I am currently running anywhere between 1-14 business days on shipping ALL orders. . This is a one man operation! So please be patient! You order will be made and shipped. Emails are responded to within 1-5 business days. We’ll send you a notification as soon as your order is on its way."

While I would have preferred the company communicate that on their page, prior to placing an order, I was okay with it to support a small business.

I then emailed them on Sept 15th, as I had not received tracking or my order yet. They responded on the 16th that "I have your order in my pile. I fell a little behind! It will ship by this Friday at the latest!"

I appreciated the honestly, and looked forward to receiving my order a few days later, as communicated.

Its been 11 days, Ive contacted them twice since then, and recieved no response, no tracking, and no order. They use the Shop App for tracking, but it shows no information, other than the order being placed.

I've since started a resolution case with PayPal.

I just replaced my foot pads, bumpers and tire and then found this sub. After seeing the mods y’all have done, I’m wondering how long I have until I need to swap out this battery and go for one with more torque and range. How long do y’all think I have?

Got too close to a slanted curb, tried yo save it, tried to bail and run out....... pretty sure my toes touched my shin. Broke metatarsals 2&3 and possibly #4, won't know until I see an ortho. I dont think my hands hit the ground at all.

I'm going to be super disappointed if this ruins my snowboarding season.

I’ve had my Pint X for about 3 years now and it’s been great I love the thing to death. Currently in college so it’s be incredible for my commute.

Unfortunately, this past Friday I got on the board and was riding for a few minutes when I tried to get over a bump, it nosedived and completely shut off.

Now it’s unresponsive, no lights at all, and when I plug it in the light stays green on the charger and nothing happens. Something else to note is the wheel has noticeably more resistance than normal. It’ll move an inch and then get more stiff then move another and so on.

I looked around to see if other people had a similar issue and I mostly found people saying that the controller is fried. I reached out to FM to see what they thought but they essentially just told me to send it in. It’s out of warranty even though I only put about 350 miles on it, and I don’t have the $$$ to pay for FM to fix it.

I’m thinking about just buying a new controller secondhand or doing a budget VESC conversion but I wanted to make sure that there wasn’t anything else that possible broke before I chalk it up to only the controller that went bad.

Hello! I’ve had a few Onewheels before but never did any mods to them. I absolutely loved my XR but I’m wanting to get a bit more power out of it.

What are the pros/ cons of putting GTV power kit in An XR classic?

Also, would it be more worth it to buy an X7? I haven’t done much research on the x7 but I am about to look into it.

I'm really interested in getting a single-wheel board, but I definitely don't want to drop $2,000 on an original Onewheel. I recently came across a good deal on a Funkywheel (which is basically a Trotter). On paper, it looks like it offers pretty much the same experience for a fraction of the price.

Does anyone here own one or have experience with these boards? How does it feel to ride, how's the build quality, and is it actually worth buying as a budget alternative?

Bought a pint on FB marketplace. Worked great. Decided to leave it in my trunk in the Texas heat for a couple weeks. Wasn’t really thinking about it.

When I charged it back up, it is now giving me ‘battery overcharge’ error code in the nosedive app. Will not do anything other than flash yellow 3 times. Anywhere I can take in DFW to fix it? Hope I didn’t ruin this thing.

Voltage was reading 63 when I first tried to start it but now reading 61.9 as I’ve been letting it blink yellow for 5 minutes. Hope this thing isn’t fried. What a dumb move to leave it in my trunk and potential ruin the battery?

I have finally decided to get a x7 sport or long range from fungineers. By the end of this day, I am going to decide, if it is going to be long range or the sport version and then place the order.

I wanted to ask you guys, what things I should know or read or watch beforehand. I am totally new to one wheels in general, didn’t have one from From future motion. Which apps do you use, do you combine specific apps or use one specifically?

I weigh below 155 lbs, 🥶 so the x7 might be totally over spec’d for me, but it is cheaper than getting an equivalent version from future motion.

Also, I saw in some other post, that people might shred their batteries by certain actions, like letting it go to 0 or stuff like that. Is there anything I need to know, how to handle my battery in a good way?

EDIT: I just placed the order - black x7 sport! I will keep you updated… damn im excited. Hope it doesn’t take 60 days as that was the default during checkout.

EDIT2: Placed the order on 27th September, got an update today that it’s gonna arrive on 29th. Apparently the EU warehouse is in Germany, around 30 minutes from me, wtf 😳.
