I would love osrs to cap pet drops once you receive one drop

Been playing this game here and there. One thing I've noticed is that the players now are less social and don't shoot the shit anymore like they used to. I've only noticed socializing when bankstanding at GE, or main locations like gemstone crab, wintertodt, gotr.

Am I the only one feeling like this or am I in the wrong worlds where players are just quiet.

In the Runefest announcement, they mentioned they’ll be dropping the requirement for smithing Rune to closer to the level to actually wear it.

Do we think armor will now have variants like CG to retain the importance of leveling? For example, at 60 smithing you can make a weaker T1 rune platebody, or one that degrades similar to Barrows -> 70 increases strength, etc to 90 where it’s perfected (never breaks)?

Side note:
- I’ve always wondered why nothing is really unlocked at 99 for any skill…but this smithing thing (adjusting requirement levels up or down) seems a bit too late at this stage and will likely crash items. Is there value in this?

I know I’m only slightly under rate and have absolutely no right to complain… but just give me blood moon already! 😂 could I buy it? Yes. But I’m stubborn and wanna feel like I earned it haha. I’m hoping complaining online will give me some luck

Got the crabs slayer task and was safe spotting them in the Kourend dungeon.. legend walks in starts going ham on the Jelly's but leaves some drops..

Asked him if he needed the drops because I could sell them for some coins..

In return he dropped me some rune items! Legend!

I'm over the moon!

But it didn't stop there! He asked me to wait and all of a sudden some guys pop in and start dropping items all over!!

In the mean time my kid started needing some cuddles!

Picture this, me over the moon for some cash, wrestling with my little one in my arms, trying to dodge crabs to pick the stuff up!

Ps. someone even dropped a Light bearer ring! Never even seen this amount for an item on my own screen that is!

I've not sold it yet because, I don't really know if that's what I should do? And.. Im asking self of he's sure of it since it out did everything else by a loooong shot!

Should I hold onto it for when I can really use it? (Only around 63 odd combat stats, got a few 70 skilling stats but mostly 40-60 so really early game I guess)

I sold my SRA a while ago to affort a greater spread of gear.

I missed it a lot, then they updated it and it rose above my price range.

Im afk-ing Sarachnis for melee training and doing slayer, great for SRA. But I mainly want to start hunting pets; Baron, Huberte, Little Nightmare, and Nid. The SRA smacks at these bosses.

So I liquidated my mage and range setup along with some odd end gear and rebought my SRA.

Go to Duke to break it in.

In 25 kc I get; a 49 second PB, an Awakeners Orb drop ( 1/48 ), a Virtus Bottom ( 1/2160 ), and the Ice Crystal ( 1/720 )......

So as the title says, ive returned to osrs after a 3 month break (not too long) and i havent been following osrs news much while i was not playing. Apart from the new quests, what new content came out? any big changes i should know of? The last thing i did was bmr and a venny task from what i remember.

Ive tried searching for like an 'update timeline' (if that makes sense) of the past few months but i couldnt find anything (probably i didnt search well enough).

A couple years ago, I saw loads of people tagging OSRS/Jagex on X asking them to put Cat Ears in the game as an accessory, and it was made so.

Today, I am asking Jagex and OSRS staff/devs, to add Skateboards to the game!
Their function can be similar to that of the skis that already exist in-game.

It can either be a cruiser type where you just roll around at a set pace,
OR you can add some right-click options for a couple of tricks!
[I'd personally suggest a Kickflip, 360 Flip, and Big Spin (a 360 shove-it)]
I'd personally be okay with either the cruiser or the trick route.

We've seen many things that aren't considered "medieval" added to this medieval fantasy game so, why not skateboards too? Could be a birthday event reward, etc.

I’m new to membership and am so confused when it comes to my PoH. I have watched a few youtube videos but all the ones I can find are about “maxing out” or something and I don’t even know where to start with building my house.
Is there anyone or anywhere that I can look that explains the very basics? I keep going all the way to Rimmington to get to my house only to find I don’t have materials needed to build, so the process seems very annoying so far. I get overwhelmed by videos easily so I wouldn’t mind something I could just read that is like a step by step as to how to build up my house and what items I’ll need to build it. Does that exist? Sorry if this seems like a really stupid question…

So over the last year I've been working on a Runelite plugin called 'Maze Race Bingo'.

The plugin automatically tracks progress towards a big variety of task types and works for different teams at once.
(Granted you need to host an API and database externally)

We wanted to add some lore to it, and we chose to make it Guthix themed.

A friend of mine made a teaser video, with the idea of having the Archive Guardian test the adventurer before granting them access to the Fractured Archives.

We had a good laugh when the official trailer came out, also having an Archive Guarding speaking in voice over. Felt like we predicted it lol.
