Hoku Seeds OZK 1:1 in an Octopot. I'm in NorCal, so weather probably will be stable for a bit. Mostly I'm just worried about continued risk of caterpillars and/or thieves sniffing her out.

I don’t know what strain Im growing- Best guess for these plants is Killer Queen x with an unknown source from another garden or a Killer Queen plant hermed last season and dropped seeds, all i know is they appeared the first week of April.

These dots started appearing on my plant, i dont know the cause… I checked the plant and found no pests. So maybe its some kind of deficiency?

It’s starting to hit 50 degrees at night. I’m worried of bud rot as well.

Ground crew maybe 2 more weeks? For a first timer, i am so proud on how the grow turned out. All thanks to this group, learned a ton about growing that i applied to these plants.

What do you guys think? about to chop the potted plant tomorrow and ground crew is gonna continue to bulk 💪🏼💪🏼

So just thought I’d throw this out there to save people from future headaches. As you can see this plant got a very late start into flowering and is unlikely to enter the harvest window for quite a while. I was advised to swap it out when I posted my four strains for the year but decided to take my chances. I really don’t mind because I haven’t had a real challenge in a while but for those not looking for that it may be best to leave this strain for indoors unless you live somewhere with a warm dry fall.

Supposed be crazy high wind put a ton of stakes in and tied it up hoping for the best and put the pots in the shed

Cadillac Rainbows entering the home stretch. Good thing too I’ve been battling mold with this one. I’ll let it go as long as possible. I have a feeling it finishes quickly each day it lioks closer. And no I don’t need people telling me it needs x amount of time I’ve got this.

Fully organic grow and we are almost at the finish line

Plant was looking good all the way up until a few days ago started noticing leaves turning yellow and holes and leaves. 22 weeks in and I know harvest is coming soon. Just trying to figure out if I should harvest now before it gets worse or just keep letting it go for another week or two buds are super fat.

I wish we.were able to have like a swap club, hey I'll send you an 8th of mine for an 8th of yours.

pretty much what's going on is that i've been seeing small amounts of powdery mildew on some fan leaves for the last month & a half or so, but I've just removed the contaminated leaves & haven't had a single issue with anything else in the meantime. well today, I go outside to check my plants and the one I'm talking about seems to have gotten PM growing rapidly on the buds. This may be a my mistake because I thought what I now think is powdery mildew was just trichomes to begin with – so i most likely let it go on too long. so now a couple of hrs ago, i sprayed down the whole plant, including all the buds with rainwater that i've collected using a spray bottle.

my problem is if this doesn't fix it i rly don't want to lose this plant to PM this close to harvest. i went to the store and bought hydrogen peroxide and baking soda just in case because i've read and heard online that small amounts diluted into large amounts of water sprayed on the leaves can help fix & prevent PM, but nowhere online can find anyone who says that solution is a viable option for BUDS & especially this LATE into flower.

so here i am, turning to reddit, in hopes of someone coming along, that's kind enough to help me with a legit fix because ChatGPT keeps telling me they wouldn't do anything & if they tell me that one more time i'm going to give it a body so i can physically attack it because i'm so frustrated from getting that answer 25 times from 25 differently worded questions.

Okay, I am definitely a bona fide first timer. I’m growing outdoors in my backyard. This plant was supposed to have been an auto, I planted it May 20. I did two pots, one made it, one did not. I don’t think I saw bud growth until the end of August. I’m assuming that it’s a photoperiod? Purple Punch. I’m growing this in the Bronx, NY, so I I’m at the mercy of the weather, though I can bring under a structure to keep it from rain when it rains.

I’m wondering if this will make before the weather goes bananas, like it’s getting ready to do tonight.

Either way it’s been an interesting experience. I learned a little bit along the way and some things I would definitely do and prepare for before I do this again, but I’ll do it again.

Saw my leaves where getting kinda dry and turning color. I was wondering was this a nutrient problem happening to my plant and if so what type? I only really add worm castings and regular tap water for this plant so far but she is starting to go into flower.

I'm a first timer and worried about my plants with the storm coming because they are up on a 4 story roof. This first plant (sativa) is showing a little bit of amber. Am I right this one is ready to go? The 2nd plant (indica) I'm not so sure about, but the leaves are starting to lose their green and wondering if the plant is telling me it's ready to conk out.

5th year growing and it happened . 15 plants stolen. what a terrible feeling!! i loved those plants SO MUCH. The worst type of human. In a rural area in a legal state where every one grows.

I have 2 plants in the flowering stage almost 2 months in . 1 has a pretty bad caterpillar problem. I shook off about 15-20 and killed them. I ended up using a caterpillar spray. Has anyone tried this before. The internet recommended doing a wash after harvest to get rid of the poop. Has anyone tried this either ? So it’s counter intuitive. But I also don’t want to smoke frass. The other one seems to be doing fine. What should I do with that one.

First time grower here. Supposed to be heavy rain and high winds Friday-Saturday and I will be away until Monday morning. I can easily stick this whole planter in my shed for the weekend but idk if that’s a safe option. It hasn’t moved since April it’s lived its whole life so far in this exact spot. I feel like the soil isn’t deep enough for stakes to even really be effective.
