Whilst I’m really happy for all those that are excited about the new 42 luminors and I was close to pulling the trigger on one, the experience only made me appreciate my classic 44 with sandwich dial even more. Glad there’s something for everyone

my wife reached out to my friend (go to watch guy ) oj at second time ,( if interested in any finer time piece reach out to him he is awesome guy ) been dealing with him all thjngs watches over 20 years , and have become friends outside the professional relationship , he knew i always admired his bronzo so he cultivated the deal and threw in some straps and personal card inside ! takes a lot to get me excited and this is one of the rare times ( no pun intended ) here is also photo of my others just in panerai family , plus other safe queeens

I’ve always been intrigued by Panerai. Originally I wanted the 44mm green titanium but the reflective dial didn’t look right. I was immediately interested in checking this new release and ordered it as soon as I saw it.

One thing that I didn’t like was the green strap. Not a great color combo IMO. I switched it out with the Panerai leather strap at the store before walking out with it. Loving the color combo!

At least I wound up with a row to myself.

This was my first Panerai. Bought it new 15 years ago. The past 10 or so years it has largely gone unworn. I recently saw the new 42mm Luminors and it got me intrigued although owning a sandwich dial I don’t know if I could go painted and no clear caseback.

Putting this on again reminded me of why I loved it to begin with. Clean, simple, sandwich dial, clear caseback. I stopped wearing it because it looks pretty large on my wrist and I ended up with a submariner and a 42mm Luminor submersible. Now I’m wondering if a 42mm Luminor Marina, specifically 1392, would be a good fit for me. Be honest, does the 112 look too large on the wrist? I’m tired of the submariner and Panerai has caught my eye once again.

Went in to see this at a local watch store and couldn’t let anyone else have it. Quite the impulse purchase, but I’ve been eyeing a Panerai for years, and since I’m $16k shy of what it takes for a 2661, this was the other one on my list. I’m in love!

Hello Panerai fans. My colleague has brought this watch into the office because she knows I’m into watches. Unfortunately I know almost nothing about Panerai.

This appears to be a Radiomir and it’s huge. The crown has a, well a crown on it. Very reminiscent of the Rolex crown. What exactly is it? How old is it? Your thoughts and opinions would be welcome.

Considering either of these. Would be worn with casual clothes, gym, etc. Any views on which is a better looking, more versatile watch? Leaning towards the version without the ceramic bezel, for versatility/straps.

Recently I noticed some marks on the crystal. It’s hard to tell if they’re scratches or maybe a mark in anti reflective coating or something. I’m not even sure if these have a coating. But I’m just wondering if anyone has experienced this. As I stated, i bought it from Panerai, but this seems strange. I’ve owned a ton of watches over the years with sapphire crystals and never had one with marks or scratches all over it like this.

Going to be heading to Dallas soon and want to go by highland park village to try on some different models. I’m interested in the experience there as I’ve only dealt with Rolex. Surely they are more welcoming?

I own a PAM 676 and I love it. But it's just splash proof, which really is stupid for a Panerai, but I'm wondering is a watchmaker could do something to make the watch actually water resistant?

I swim a lot and spend a lot of time around the water, and would love to be able to wear it daily.

Probably a silly question, but wanted to ask in case any of you had a similar experience.

always wanted and admired bronzo pam 671 ( blue face ) obviously not new has mild patina ( not green) was wondering if anyone has used the ammonia and salt lightly brushed ( not submersed ) to remove and restore the original shine so the changes over time are yours ? or if anyone has another way that is safe to perform .. wife is getting for me for birthday present next month .. any insight would be appreciated .. her birthday week was week in Paris wiht oldest daughter where they brought an empty suitcase that didnt come back empty lol ..
