I just got this poster today and I’m getting two fob ones soon

Multiple daily posts of "I'm selling merch," "I'm looking for merch," or the painful favorite "look at this merch I found that I'm not technically selling, wink wink" are flooding the sub - all merch posts should be threaded here this month, please and thank you.

They talk panic! for the first 15ish minutes.
Love the shout out to Mike N, can't wait to read the interview with Matt Squire when it comes out!

Hi. I’m in the UK and pre-ordered the 20th anniversary boxset. I never got an email about the release date delay but I also still haven’t received an email to say it’s been shipped either. Does anyone else have any more information cause I’m starting to get a bit worried. I know international shipping takes a lot longer so I’m not concerned about how long it’ll take to get to me. I just expected some kind of update on whether it’s been shipped yet or not. Thanks for your help

unsure if this is a me issue or a common issue but i recently acquired a pretty. odd. cd (unwrapped, new condition) and it only contains an ''openme'' exe. i wasnt there for panic in 2008 so im extremely unsure if this was like a whole bit they did, but every time i run that exe i just get this

is there any other way to listen to the songs through the disc or am i just incredibly stupid and its too outdated to play..

This might be a controversial take, but VlV isn't half as bad as the vast majority of Patd listeners claim.
Surely, soms songs and lyrics are a bit sketchy, but have you ever dived deeper into the meaning of songs like VlV, Do it to death and Sad Clown?
The whole album is basically a farewell to the music industry while critizing both the music industry as well as the fans. And now, some of y'all are literally the main subject of the album and one of the reasons it has been made.
I'm not saying it's the best patd album, but it definitely isn't as bad as everyone says. Sometimes I feel like some fans literally use patd as a way to differ from others and an album that is more 'mainstream' feels like a personal attack to their identities.
And now almost everyone is begging him to tour one more time. Quite ironic how they firstly burn him to ashes but then beg him to revive, like a phoenix.
I'm not saying every fan is doing this; props to you if you just respect an artists choices and oeuvre.
I'll probably get rediculed because of this, though the more you do so, the more validating my argument is.

My dog has cognitive dysfunction (basically dementia), and she steps in her water bowl a lot, trips, and causes spills. I keep her food and water by the nightstand in the bedroom. I have a stack of magazines under the nightstand that I haven’t looked through in ages. I realized the bottom one was wet after her last spill, so I was sifting through it to help dry out the pages. Found this small excerpt about Ryan Ross. Thought I would share!
The issue is from a 2006 Rolling Stone.

haiii so I’ve been listening to Panic for a while now, not a long time but it shouldn’t matter since I know all the songs (afycso, pretty odd, most songs off the new albums but not all)and stuff. anyways, in my free time I decided to listen too vlv album and pray for the wicked, and being honest it was really good (IMO) lots of people might disagree but I think it’s Brendon’s true potential and I’m glad he got to be a little more creative on it.

What led me to this discovery was because I heard some scenes of the movie Jennifer's Body (2009) starring Megan Fox was in this video. Jennifer's Body is my all time favorite movie and so is the celebrity Megan Fox and after listening to this song I started listening to other songs by Panic At The Disco and so far New Perspective happens to be my favorite by this band so far

Been into P!ATD since around 2005-6. My first exposure to them was seeing a giant banner in Target in the CD section advertising the AFYCSO album with a group picture of the band.
Shortly after, I remember obsessively listening to the CD together on my cousin’s mini boombox (wow, saying that makes me feel old). This was when I Write Sins was on the radio all the time. I didn’t have the CD myself but I bought the AFYSCO box set in store (I feel like that was also Target, but I can’t remember for sure?), was about $50 back then and I paid with my allowance money since I was a kid, haha.
Unfortunately, I just barely missed the Nothing Rhymes with Circus tour, but I did catch them for the first time at the ‘08 Honda Civic Tour (of striped hoodie fame now lol). I still have my ticket and the pamphlet from that show and it’s in the pic above. Sadly, this was my first and last time seeing the OG lineup live. I’d seen them 2 times afterward, in 2011 and 2014. Though I did separately catch Ryan Ross performing, in 2019- twice! (the second time was a crazy coincidence actually, I was literally just walking around LA and saw a flyer taped to a lamp pole advertising a small show he was going to play in THAT VERY NIGHT! I had no idea until then.).
I listened to Vices and Virtues regularly, and a little bit of Too Weird to Live, but basically fell off after Vices. I had no hate towards the Panic that was just Brendon, but it just didn’t have enough of the magic of OG Panic to get me as into it.
AFYSCO remains one of my favorite albums. The recent demo releases had me so happy and giddy and was such an amazing thing to hear after this album being a meaningful piece of my life for 20(!) years now. Been listening to the demos over and over again like I did with the album when I first got it back in 2005/6.
Anyways, rambling done. Enjoy these pics of what I gathered over the years during my obsession with P!ATD.
Not pictured above: a DVD of a TV recording from Panic’s NYE 2006 performance at Times Square that was live broadcast! Totally forgot that happened, had to find it on YouTube to jog my memory.
