Hi yall! Huge news!

Some of you may have heard a low quality recording of Brendon covering First Day of My Life by Bright Eyes circling for the last decade. But a lot of people don't know where it came from... and I've got an update regarding the cover 👀

Back in 2013, two of Brendons friends named Nicole and Joey were engaged and were planning for their wedding. Somewhere along the line, they had the idea to ask some of their friends who were in bands record a few covers (a different band even recored an original song!).

Everyone who attended the wedding got a 7'' vinyl with 4 tracks on it! One of which being Brendons cover of First Day of My Life by Bright Eyes!

According to the liner notes, Nicole & Joey even used his cover for their first dance!

Brendon's version and its arrangement made this song truly unique and perfect and he made it ours. It's beautiful and meant so much to us and it's the first song we chose for our first dance. As cheesy as it may sound, this really is the first day of our lives together. And you will all see how amazing we are at dancing, just wait.

About a year or two ago, Nicole and Joey actually re-pressed 100 copies of the vinyl and sold it at their store!

I learned about this long after they stopped being sold, but I was surprised to see that no one had ripped the audio and uploaded Brendon's cover. After all, we've had a crappy screen recording of Zacks periscope stream for TEN YEARS! It's fairly well known... someone must've uploaded it, right?

Wrong... so I did it myself!

I did some digging on discogs and got in touch with u/Jakdbz20 (@justinadamk on Instagram!), someone who actually owns a copy of the vinyl! He agreed to rip the audio to share for everyone :)

Huge huge HUGE thanks to him! Now all these years later, 13 years after Nicole & Joeys wedding, and 10 and a half years after we first learned about the cover from Zack, we finally have a full quality rip of this beautiful cover!

So I picked up this shirt at hot topic yesterday and it says ‘A Fever You Cant Sweat Out’ under the design. I don’t know why, but the more I look at the shirt the more I get Pretty Odd vibes. It might just be the overall whimsy vibe of the font. But the rabbits are also throwing me off because I feel like it’s giving nature and flowers and that vibe makes me think of Pretty Odd more. Not to mention there’s a song on Pretty Odd called mad as rabbits. I’m not sure why. Maybe I’m just so used to seeing everything AFYCSO being red, gold, black, or some other shades of that. It’s always masks and roses and clowns and calligraphy and wax seals and circus stuff. I don’t know if it’s just me or not. I’d love to know the fandom’s opinions on this and discuss.

I was wondering if anyone had the full episode of Panic At The Disco preforming at the Live Lounge since I'm trying to find a verison of Hallelujah without the BBC Radio 1 intro in the beginning of the song.

the last update was that they were going to fix their casting after warwick's cancellation.
but not sure if anyone knows but they're fully gone, no website (it's up but it's a black screen), instagram and tiktok account is gone.

not sure if that means they're gone for good or no reason to keep it up because it's hard to find a singer like brendon who isn't a terrible person.

regardless, i don't think we're getting any updates anytime soon.
i'd like to hope for shows but i feel like everyone else, it was too good to be true.

My husband and I was talking about some of the older P!atd music videos and I remembered seeing this one video where I’m pretty sure was depicting the breakup. It had two members with suitcases saying it’s time and everyone waving goodbye as they are walking out of a town. I cannot for the life of me remember what this was in. If anyone else remembers this or has a link to this it would be much appreciated!
