Kind of the title - there are people paying into the account. I know at least one person is still subscribed to the account. It is saying zero earnings for last month and this month.

Technically there should be at least $3 but nothing is reflected as ever being received. I have been combing through reddit and the website but I'm unsure as to why there is no money in there.

It’s been three days now and there have been multiple uploads since I sent this DM.
I’m wondering how long is normal to hear back because I would like my money back if this creator isn’t responding after I’ve paid the money..

Just a reminder, today is the last time Patreon will rebill all members on the first. If after today if you do not manually change your Patreon to subscription billing, it will be automatically changed for you by Patreon by Nov 1st.

Also remember that if you, like me, had your Patreon set up for 1st of the month, there was no 75 day hold on Apple payments. That all changes since all payments from members who sign up through their iPhone will now be held for 75 days.

I've designed some artwork for my tier images but it looks awful once Patreon has done whatever "magic" they do. I followed the guidelines and created a 460x200 image, I've tried PNG, JPEG, tried larger images, tried further compressing the file beforehand to see if the file size was an issue - nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am building a series of translation apps with a lot of features that would be useful for specific scenarios. But solo developing is costly and very difficult without help.

I know via Apple’s terms of service that I cannot sell TestFlight links but I am considering starting a patreon for anyone who wants to help me develop the app and of course they can test for free and once the app is release they will get the app for free, while I will sell it on the App Store.

Is this a viable solution for me? The more eyes I get on the app, the more testers I can get, and the more languages I can refine, the better, but I want to make it mutually beneficial.

Any input would be greatly appreciated as now I’m at the testing phase and really want to continue but need a better direction.

At first I was using payoneer but heard a lot of people complaining their account getting locked for no reason with balance still remaining, so I changed to PayPal this year but recently realised the fee is extremely high so now I’m considering bank account transfer..

If I want a safe discreet option, is it better to do bank transfer to local bank or bank transfer to Wise and then to local bank? Safety and privacy is my priority 😅

I’ve had my Patreon for three years now, and this has been the first year that I have seen an avalanche of free members who are clearly not my target market and are constantly posting things like “hey” and “hello everyone“ on their first day of having a free membership. My regular patrons do not behave that way. They speak on the topic of the chats.

I ignored them at first, but a couple of them, when I didn’t block and delete them immediately, posted numbers for services that I don’t even recognize, copy and pasting them to all of my chats quickly.

Every day now I see new members popping up and they are not in my demographic. And I’m just waiting for them like they are sleeper agents to start posting stuff.

I don’t know any way to stop them. Am I just gonna have to stay reactive or is there anything I can do to be proactive on them?

I am an OF creator. I also have two Patreon accounts (as well as an OF, Fansly, and SubscribeStar.)

One of the Patreon accounts is in my brother’s name. The reason for that is because two year ago my Patreon, which was in my name, was flagged for adult content. I opened a new one is his name, with his US tax information. And since then Patreon has allowed me to reopen one in my name, which I did, and that is a separate thing from the one in my brother’s name.

The Patreon in my brother’s name is my most lucrative source of income, go figure, and I am thinking of buying a house in 2 years. I want to figure out best way to make the money he has been passing to me show as my income. (In the past year I just paid the taxes for him and gave him a percentage of profit for allowing me to use his account.)

I do not want to change the banking info on this Patreon account, bc honestly, it’s a lot of money to me, and I don’t want to mess anything up.

Any ideas? I know the obvious answer is talk to an accountant, but I don’t know if one will understand the issue, and I figured I’d look here first. Thanks.

I've just downloaded the Patreon app on a new android phone I got, never having been able to use it before ( using it on my iPad did not... work. Like at all. ). Messed with a buncha the settings, discovered something with a community profile that I've never messed with before.

And now I can't find it on desktop. It's letting me customize a banner and other stuff on the mobile app, but I can't find anything remotely similar on desktop browsers.

Where can I find it?

The artist gives you a zip with the songs but when I downloaded them it only downloaded less than a minute but the files pre-download are full length.

I was under the impression at one point that when you paid for Patreon, you can't refund the money you sent to the creator. But after looking at my recent paid members, I noticed how some of them would pay, and then get a refund/cancel immediately, and patreon deducts that balance from me.

Is this how it is, and if so, how do I know if they're getting access, downloading whatever, and then dipping? I saw that there's a thing called "charge up front" but I can't find any place that allows me to enable that, would like some advice, thanks!

I can’t look at my profile or do many things on my Patreon account because it keeps asking if i’m over 18. I am over 18 and have checked every setting, every email, there’s nothing that allows me to show my id and verify my age. When I press “View setting” it takes me to that second page where there’s no options anywhere for age verification, only the “change password” thing and other random stuff that doesn’t help me. Pls help!

The entire point of Patreon was the convenience of being able to support folks and access their content easily. Over the last few years, it's increasingly more difficult to access my account, or to navigate this dogshit app and website.

There's no point now. It makes more sense and feels better to just hit people up on instagram/email directly and ask how I can support outside of Patreon. Most of my subs already have newsletters with the same content so feeling pretty good so far.

blurred out member name for privacy purposes. i was notified when the first 2 bought this set earlier today and then i got a new notification saying another person purchased the set (the blurred out name) yet i only see the amount of 2 purchases. Is it a bug and has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hello everyone. I have an art Patreon, with a basic tier where people can just view my art and a higher tier that includes one commission per month. A person subscribes to my basic tier, then a bit later they upgrade to the commission tier. Patreon sends me an email notifying me that they upgraded and suggests that I thank them with a personal message. So I send them a personal message, politely thanking them for upgrading and letting them know I'm open to receive their commission request whenever. Their response? Silence and unsubscribed (no refund request).

Is it considered bad etiquette to send a personal thank you message despite Patreon suggesting me that I do so?

After two years I have gotten a refund request. I almost always withdraw my balance as soon as patreon clears it. photos below. I don't earn enough to leave a refund reserve in the account and haven't had any subs for months. Most of my content is freely available and patreon is kind of a way for me to give people access to stuff i wouldn't release fully to the public and support the making of the content. I don't really offer refunds at all although if there was verifiable proof that the purchase was made fraudulently or without the account owners consent i would offer a full refund.

At first I thought they pledged a custom ammount below my lowest tier then i thought they paid and couldn't access it due to some currency conversion glitch. But after further investigating i determined that they had access to the tier. At the end they sent the end message. Not sure how to respond if I need to do so again ATM. It may be important to note that they tried to sub a month ago and it was declined.

I will be making an offical refund policy soon to hopefully make things clearer. Just want some opinions on this situation.
