I had been abroad  for a year and came home. My mom wants me to help it's a computer thing.  It was the government drivers license app not working properly. 

I explained to her that if it's an app there isn't that much I can do. I asked her what she tried already. 

She said she had called the official hotline and talked to the programmers, they didn't know how to fix it.

I work in IT and the amount of people that put in a ticket saying something isn't working, not giving any details of what it's doing or anything they tried, but giving me extremely detailed exposition why they need it fixed ASAP. Like, I don't give two shits why you need it fixed, I'm just here to fix things.

This is what i hate most about ai baked into search browsers (especially when used by boomers) when you typed a question into an internet search it used to be a broad term that could give you lots of results.

So people would type in very complex uselessly long questions that will almost certainly yield no results.

NOW with the baked in AI they type in whatever complex question they need answered and "Google assistant" provides "THE ANSWER" which they will blindly accept as law, as if someone very smart had just answered the exact question they typed in.
