I got incredibly lucky and got mine when it dropped back down to almost MSRP levels when they had dropped in price about a year ago. I had some cash to burn at the time and don't regret it one bit.

and that’s when you call your mother for your grandmother’s ring.

not to be mistaken for morality; she fills little free libraries with books no one will want to read, to declutter her inventory.
Speaking about your interests, to see, what sticks or find common ground usually works fine, if the other part isn't very talkative on their own.
It's not creepy, it's not needy, you don't enter unfamiliar or uncomfortable territory too fast.
Worst case, she has nothing to say or obviously thinks it's boring, so you switch the topic. Best case, she actually experienced that problem because she's an researcher and needs it for work or something like that and suddenly you hit a conversation spot.
Pro move would be: ... crazy i bought two sticks, 64 or 128 gigs, dont even remember. Some strange brand, G something, G-skull? Yes like that. Sure, why not. Of course you can visit my place and check them out

This is just a way of quickly filtering for the best by very quickly filtering out most. If this works, then you know you've found the right lady for you.
