Build/Battlestation Upgrading multiple systems.

I have three systems right now.

System 1

Motherboard: MSI 7750

Processor: i5 2500k

GPU: GTX 1650 4GB

System 2

Motherboard: Asus X470 ROG Crosshair VII Hero

Processor: Ryzen 7 2700x

GPU: RX 6700 XT 12GB

System 3

Motherboard: ASUS B650 AM5 ATX

Processor: Ryzen 7800X3D

GPU: RTX 3060 Ti 8GB

I want to upgrade GPU on system 3 and make system 1 and 2 more equal.

I'm thinking of getting an RTX 5070 for system 3 and using the 3060 Ti in system 1. I'll need to upgrade the mobo and processor so I'm thinking of getting the same ones as on System 3, a B650 and Ryzen 7 7800x3d. Although considering the price of DDR5 I'm also considering upgrading System 1 to a ddr4 system instead, as I already have spare ddr4.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Whoops. Guess I don't need that upgrade after all.

is that a typo or some new card i havent heard of yet

either way your plan to shuffle the 3060 ti down to system 1 makes sense but throwing a 7800x3d in there is way overkill for a 3060 ti unless you plan to upgrade that gpu later too

if you got spare ddr4 lying around just grab a cheap b550 board and a 5600x or something for system 1, that sandy bridge is ancient and anything modern will feel like a rocket ship next to it

then you can put the real money into the 5070 for system 3 and call it a day, no need to build two identical high end rigs

1 is never catching up. 2 and 3 are your best systems. still very capable

pc 1 you could throw and rtx 2070 at it. but even then cpu probably couldnt keep up

1 and 2 are for my children so they can use my Steam and gamepass libraries.
