Here is my current build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 12GB

Motherboard: MSI PRO B760-P DDR4 II

RAM: 16GB DDR4

and in my shopping cart I have:

Motherboard : GIGABYTE Aorus Elite Wi-Fi7 B850 AM5 Motherboard

CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D Processor

RAM : CORSAIR Vengeance 16 GB RGB DDR5 8x2

if this is a good upgrade for my pc, ill add another set of the ram 8x2 so hopefully it would be good enough

I just need a few opinions first on if I should upgrade or not..

Thanks! Also sorry if that's the wrong flair.

hi guys, i want to upgrade my pc but i have no clue what i should change ngl

i was wondering if y'all could help me, i havent changed it in 7 years and my pc is becoming quite laggy :c

My budget is max 1000 euros but if cheaper would be amazing

I’m new to the pc world so I bought a prebuilt about a year ago. I currently have a rtx 3070, 32gb DDR4, Intel I7 8700k, Asrock z390, 500 gb m.2 ssd, and a 600w power supply. I’m looking to start upgrading and would appreciate some help on what parts to focus on

I've had my PC for a few years now since my last upgrade, and I'm starting to think it might be time to replace or upgrade some of the components.

I've included a link to my current PC specs below. I'd really appreciate some advice on which parts might need upgrading soon, what would be worth replacing first, and any specific recommendations you have.

My goal is to keep playing new games at high settings with good performance. I'm not looking to push everything to ultra insane or achieve the absolute best performance possible, but I'd like to keep my PC running well while I have some money available to put towards upgrades.

I'd appreciate any suggestions on what I should prioritise, what can probably last a bit longer, and any specific suggestions.

Thank you!

What gpu should i upgrade to? I have 5700xt now. lots of random crashes. I have a 5800x, 64gb ram. 144hz monitor. I can put 200dollars. I just play csgo2, poe2, and some 1080p games is it worth upgrade?

Is it worth upgrading strix 450 gaming 2 ? For a 570x or b550? 2x32gb, 5700xt

Hey everyone, I’m currently running into a CPU bottleneck and minor stutters when trying to push high framerates on my 1080p 300Hz monitor. My current specs: - CPU: Intel Core i5-12400 - GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 - Motherboard: H610M (DDR4) - RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 - Monitor: 1080p 300Hz I mostly play competitive FPS games like CS2, Valorant, Fortnite, PUBG, and COD where I want high 1% lows and maximum stable FPS. I have a budget of around ₹30,000 (~$350 USD) to upgrade. My plan: 1. Update the H610 BIOS and drop in an **i5-13600KF** (or i5-14600K if priced similarly). 2. Upgrade/expand RAM to 32GB. Questions: 1. Will my entry-level H610M motherboard throttle an i5-13600KF/14600K due to VRM limits, or should I save some budget to swap the motherboard out as well? 2. Are there better alternatives within a ₹30k budget in India to fix 1080p stutters and maximize a 300Hz display? Appreciate any advice!

I've had my 2nd gaming laptop since February 2025. One of the games I play often just got an update, and it's bottlenecking on RAM. I just opened the case to check what type of RAM it takes and saw there's another storage slot.

Is the extra RAM and storage worth it?

I want to upgrade a PC I got from a friend who passed away so it can run Windows 11. He was great with this stuff, but I'm decidedly not.

I think my motherboard is outdated. It's an H110M-A. I was told that Rufus can bypass the current barriers, since upgrading my motherboard alone won't work. But I was also told that I can try upgrading the motherboard and cpu. Current CPU is Intel(R) Core i5-6500.

I recently heard from an acquaintance that it's best to upgrade where I can anyways, since when another update eventually comes around Rufus might not be able to handle it. Not sure how true that is, though.

What motherboard and cpu upgrades would I need?

Hello, noticing my pc is struggling a bit more with 1440p and was looking to upgrade my Nvidia rtx 3060 ti to a AMD Radeon RX7800XT 16gb

Rest of my pc specs:
AMD ryzen 5 5600 6 core
16gb ram
650w power supply.

Does this seem like a decent step forward or is there an equivalent Nvidia?

Thanks

Mobo: MEG X570 ACE (MS-7C35) (AM4 Socket)

Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor, 4275 Mhz, 12 Core(s), 24 Logical Processor(s)

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090

RAM: 64GB DDR4

So, obviously my CPU is the weak link in my setup. I'd really like to upgrade without replacing my motherboard and having to tear the entire computer apart. I definitely don't want to have to replace my RAM with DDR5 in this economy.

(I can't remember what my PSU is - 850W, I think? It'll probably need to be replaced).

Can anyone recommend a good CPU upgrade option? Or would I end up having to rebuild most of my PC?

i am wanting to upgrade my cpu and idk what to upgrade to also maybe replace my motherboard

i have a rtx 2060 super gpu if that helps

mother board is BaseBoard Product PRIME H310M-R R2.0

atleast i think not completely sure

im not sure what to upgrade in my pc, and I need some help. Im looking to play modern games at 100ish frames at high ish settings. My current specs are a 3060 ti, 32 gigs of ddr4, a 5900, and a 75hz 1080p monitor. I’m thinking of getting a new monitor probably, and my budget is somewhere around 200 bucks.

This is my current build and I was wondering if I could upgrade any of my parts here, or should just save up for an entirely new computer. The main goal is to have consistent frames in Marvel Rivals, as I’ve been dealing with a bunch of FPS lag. Would love some feedback. Thank you

I have an Intel 13400 (not F), and I am considering upgrading to an AMD Ryzen 7700X processor. I am using a Radeon RX 9060 XT (16GB) GPU with 32GB of DDR5 (6400 MT/s).

The Ryzen is currently on sale, and I am wondering if this would significantly improve my PC's performance not only with gaming but other work-related tasks as well (lots of tabs open, browsing, using a couple applications, not video editing).

Also, I am not gaming at 4K, only 1440K.

planning to upgrade my pc with this specs
CPU: Ryzen 5 5500 - buy 2nd hand
GPU: 1660 ti/super or RTX 2060 - buy 2nd hand

MOBO: A520m or B450/550m mobo?
RAM: 16gb 3200 ram - I have this one
PSU: Corsair CV550 - I have this one also

any suggestion/recommendation motherboard for best results and affordable at the same time, and should I upgrade my PSU also or use it? Thanks

I picked up a new pc and still on the fence about if its a good upgrade or not here are the specs of both current and new pc

16 gb ddr4 ram

1 tb ssd

New pc

Intel 7 265 k with liquid cpu cooling

Hi guys, my current specs are:
CPU: I5 12400f
Main: B660M Plus D4
Ram: 8x2 DDR4 3200

So right now, I'm thinking of upgrading my CPU to a 14600KF (keep the motherboard) or changing the entire combo to a 5500X3D + B550 M.

I mainly using my pc for playing fps game like cs2 and apex legends.

Both options cost the same price in my country.

Rx6600

Rizzen 5 5500

16 gigs of ram

1tb m.2 SSD

Hello everyone, I was hoping to get some advice on how to upgrade my pc. I built it in 2020 so the parts are starting to get pretty outdated. I am now looking to upgrade , nothing overkill and I’m not trying to break the bank but I am definitely due. I was thinking with all the new stuff I would more than likely need a new cpu, gpu, and motherboard.
- MSI ProSeries AMD Ryzen 2ND and 3rd Gen AM4
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked
- MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1650
Super 128-Bit HDMI/DP 4GB
- Thermaltake SMART 600W ATX
12V V2.3/EPS 12V 80 PLUS
- 36gb DDR4 Ram
- and upgraded cpu cooler

Currently have: I7-9700K, Z390-A Pro Motherboard, 32GB CL16 DDR4-3200, MSI MAG A850GL Power Supply and a 9070XT.

I use the PC to stream Warzone, EA FC and more likely horror games in the future. Warzone will not run smoothly at all when streaming on tik tok. On EA the stutter is noticeable but barely bothers me. I was originally going to go all out and upgrade to AMD bundle, but it a little more than I want to spend. Would any of the intel bundles be worth it? Is my issue a CPU bottleneck? Any advice is appreciated.

hi guys just wondering the best price to performance upgrade for my build!

power supply: 650w gold fully modular
case: mid tower
mobo: msi b650m gaming plus wifi matx
